Weighted jig fishing, with Berkley Gulp curly tail for bait, has become very popular for flounder and seabass fishing. 3/4 to 1 1/2 oz. jigs are good to use in the creeks and inlets, and 3 oz. buctails can be used in the bay where the current is stronger. A single bucktail can be used, for fishing; or you can use a bucktail and teaser, jig rig, with a 12 inch apart leader, and a 6 inch for the teaser. Berkley Gulp plastic shrimp work good for fishing, too. To fish the sig let the line reach the bottom, and jig the rig up and down off the bottom; so it bounces about 5 inches. When the flounder bites it pulls the line; so, set the hook.
