This is a carp I caught with a float and a #2 Eagle Claw hook, with a nite crawler on it. I had to play this fish, because I had most of my fishing line casted out when he took the bait, and he swam out so I walked closer to the bank of the lake, then he stopped pulling the line out so I reeled him in a little at a time. He tried to swim out about four times, and I was only using 6 pound test line. Finally I played him out and landed him, and put him on my stringer. He was 24 inches long, and weighed 6 pounds.
