I made this dress because I loved the fabric.  It looks like a perfect sunrise and I knew that I needed a dress made out of it.  Normally I only sew to costume.   But, but...the fabric was so perfect. And what kind of character wears a dress like this?

This dress was fairly simple. The only real challenge was matching the pattern.  Which was annoying and time consuming, but not really difficult. And I feel that the dress turned out splendidly!  Everywhere I go, people ask me where I bought it. And I can smile and say, "Oh, I made this!" to watch their astonished looks. It's so much fun.
