The Light

Sometimes we need that extra light
To help show us the way
When the future is uncertain
And there is no light of day

The help we need to gain this light
Is a friend who wants to care
A friend who wants to listen
A friend who wants to share

It's funny how the light will shine
When someone else is near
When someone shares in happiness
When someone shares a tear

There's nothing worse than "Lonely"
And God watches from above
And when he sees you need a light
He'll send someone to love
