There's some new stuff that I have for you guys! Check out the Page news for the new shit on that subject and as for the other thing I got that's new, it's a new Green Day picture! Well, it isn't mine actually. A rad ass chick named Libby sent em to me after another rad ass chick sent em to her. Isn't Libby nice? Yes she is :) SAY IT GODDAMNIT! Aww you guys are so sweet! Libby if your reading this, look! everyone loves you! Also, I've been kinda behind on the club but don't worry it's only temporary. It's because I am working on a new Zine, a actual paper Zine not an e-zine. And I've been doing things like interviewing bands, writing and bossing other people around to write for me and bugging some guys to do a comic strip and what not for me. Well, I bet half of you already know this but there was a letter that Billie Joe wrote to the fans and it is posted at www.greenday.net AND www.greenday.com BUT I'm going to be nice and type it up for you guys to read here. The letter. Mike Tre and I are hanging out at home after a long year of touring. This year marks our 11th year of being in a band, so I want to put together a fanzine full of photographs of not only us but friends that have helped us hung out with us or drank our beer. I have some pretty embarrassing pictures so it might seem more like revenge then reminiscing speaking of anniversary's we played cinder blocks 10 year anniversary party on the Feb. 20th at a warehouse in Oakland congratulations Jeff and cinder everyone got drunk danced and threw cups of beer there was also a dunk tank (more like drunk tank) some bungy chord whiplash machine thing. Huevos ranchers and one man army played too along with jello biafra doing a spoken word. it was a hoot. as for the future we're not "doing demos" im writing songs and having band practice at tre's house every now and then. we're not in a rush. maybe mike will move to Russia and become a cowboy tre just might join the circus this year. and as for me? im thinking about being a middle eastern belly dancer whatever happens, it should make some damn fine new songs. who knows maybe we'll show up on your door step and play in your living room.....bye Love, Billie Aww now was'nt that nice? Maybe you didnt break the noodle brick leaving a few brittle clumps in there with the well boiled gooey noodles.Or maybe you didnt evenly stir in the seasoning pack, so some portions taste really salty, while others just taste like styrafoam.Punk Rock is alot like ramen---it's as easy to play as it is to screw up.Take the living end for example:they took slappy rockabilly Stray Cat struts, mixed in the Green Day I'd-rather-pick-my-nose-or-masterbate-than- grow-up seasoning pack and...voila they wound up with clumps of Brian Setzer doing his Cliff Gallup licks under a mass of Billie Joe vocals---Lorne Behrman Club and Page News Guess what guys? Well last week I sent out some news that we were thinking of having membership cards, well I got a bunch of e-mails saying it was a good idea. So I now have membership cards available! It comes in three "Styles" The Billie Joe style, the Tre' Cool style, or the Mike Dirnt style. I have some scans of them so if you want to see them e-mail me personally and I will send them to you. Soon though, they will be up at the page. Actually tonight they should be up at the page. So be sure to keep on the lookout for that. Also Me, Libby and a couple of my local freinds are working on a new paper zine called Punk Rock Adrenaline. GrEeNdAy14@aol.com Here are the shims answers. 1) my favorite green day member is billie joe because he is god. he is an awesome guitar player and inspired me 2 play. and i love him because he is really cool because he has 2 kids and is a really good dad and because i have this bootleg tape of greenday playing and there was a fight in the crowd and he stopped in the middle of a song and went to break it up and i thought that was cool. i could go on and on about him but i will just shut up. 2) i dont really have a favorite greenday album. i think every cd they make is awesome and i totally love them. i love all of their cds but if i had to pick a favorite i would have to say kerplunk or insomniac 3)my favorite greenday song is either One of My Lies or Who wrote Holden Caulfield because those songs are awesome. 4)the most rad ass thing about this is the prizes i want prizes. and i like all of the greenday info. Said Tre' cool jumping up and down, in Billie Joes house. 'Tre were you digging in the BFI again?" asked mike hoping that if tre did he wouldent catch some funky trash can disease Tre smiles "yeah but this time i took a shower and anyways that isnt the point i made this really cool thing," Tre escorts mike into his den where mike sees a microwave, TV,Radio,and refridgerator all duck taped together with a wire hanger stuck in the middle. Mike doubles over in laughter, "tre...what the.....hell....is ..t-t-....that thing?" Tre struts over to mike trying very hard to keep his pride."It happens to be a time machine." That made mike laugh even harder and he ran to go to the bathroom before he pissed in his pants. On the way Mike fell over a chair and crashed head forst into a wall, his vision doubled and he woozily got up by then he fell backwards and crashes into tres time machine. When mike wakes back up he finds that he is on the couch and sees Billie joe and tre in the kitchen. " Hey mike," said Billie " i hear your being gay again and you fucked up tres time machine!" Mike jumps to his feet "dont tell me you belive that crap!" Billie looks at mike offendedly, "why? you dont". confused mike responds"come on billie its made from trash" Tre steps in for his own defense " Well mike then lets just take a spin in my time machine, if you didnt screw it up too much!" Tre and mike walk into the den adn Billie comes in later with a 6 pack,"hey we need somethign for the road" They all cram into the refridgerator and tre presses buttons on a calculator he presses in the date: 1927 and then the light begins to blink and the microwave starts counting backwards. They feel like there sinking down intothe carpet, or being dropped form a big plane millions of miles and right befor it feels liek they are ging to land it stops. They climb out to find themselves inside a club. they dont seem to be noticed they look all around music like the cherry poppin daddies aree playing adn people are swing dancing every where. Billie scans the room and spots a beautiful girl with dark hair and a black dress on " damn look at that butt id like to get some of that bootie." Mike gives Billie a disdainful look and says like shed fall for you, she likes the slick type better, i can tell" "well then it wouldent be you all you do is break your nose you gay" Before mike can respond they see tre up onstage mumbling something but they cant make out what. When there ears finally fosous over all the noise they here what he is saying and its not good. "Billie wants some bootie form that girl in the corner over theere yaeh you with the blackj dress!" The lady walds up to Billie, "dude shes coming over here!!" thinks billie "Is that true?" her breath smells like a sweet fragrance of cinnimon adn roses, its very alluring." "Uh...uh...m...yeah" Choked out Billie. "My name Bonnie,Why dont we go back ot my place?" Billie follows her, forgetting all about tre and mike. They hop into her car and a few minutes later they pull up in her drive way. When they get into her house they get drunk on red wine and have pAaaionate sex, that i wont go into much detail about, exep that it involves grapes and whip cream. Later that night aroung 3:30 Bonnie becomes alarmed adn bolts up in bed. "Billie! hide under the bed quick!" Startled Billie rolls under the bed, wondering what could be wrong(by the way, adreinne dosent exist in this story,Billies not a player) When all of a sudden a large man walks in,"i think im in deep shite" thinks billi. " Bonnie, you should have sen me i was great, you know that lucrabazzi guy, yeah the one who screwed me over, he sleeps with the fishes now" "oh my god hes in the italian mofia! im dead " Billie is thinking out his will at this piont. As the man climbs into bed with his wife, he finds whip cream on teh sheets, "Bonjnie!" he boomed, Bonnie looked up at him nervously "Whats this whip cream doing on the sheets? we havent had sex yet, whats going on?" Billie holds his breath ready to be killed.
