There are a lot of fun new ideas that I'm thinking up daily and as soon as get more time im going to start working on them. But as of now they are secrets :) Well go ahead and read the rest of the Newsletter I hope this one is good as or better than the 1st one! ********************************************************************** Green Day News Well folks there isn't that much news as far as Green Day goes..it's still the useual..they are working on a new album and those Rolling Stones Tour Dates were cancelled...Also they were Number one on the MTV top 20 for 2 weeks in a row last time checked for the Nice Guys Finish Last video. One of them is one that I am working on Its called From the members . The other section of the page that is new has been added buy Heather, it's just a webring section. More new subpages are being planned as you read this. I want to make a page as kinda like a member directory. For example...mail me your picture, your fav. GD stuff (album/song/etc) and your name and e-mail addy then I post it up and make a sort of member directory for you guys so you all have your own section on the page. Who is my favorite member and why? Definitely Tre' (yes yes i know that he's married to you , but he's definitely the best) He always has a wisecrack to put in and he always confuses people who interview him. 2. What is my favorite album? hmmmm hard question. theyre all really good. I guess i'd have to say that its a close tie between Nimrod and Dookie. I love the cover of Dookie with the monkey and all the poop. 3. What is my favorite song? Jeez, what's with all the really hard questions? ummmmmm......I like 'hichin a ride,' and 'platypus (i hate you)' from nimrod the best. Or 'Basket Case' from Dookie. Sorry, but there's no way i can choose an alltime favorite. 4. What is the most rad-ass thing about the Shims Green Day club? yay! finally an easy question. So if you havnt read the "Story of the shims" Then here it is. ******* The Story Of The Shims Shim/shimming Shim-noun-Creature of happiness and Greenity shimming-verb-the act of making thongs Shims first were seen in the late 1500's.Humans found us under thier beds. We were miserable creatures,we didn't have any fun or hobbies. We just ate and slept. They couldn't find a way to make us happy. It seemed hopeless. It wasn't until the early 1990's that they decided to introduce us to "Music", a form of expression. They let us hear "disco", "hip hop" and soft rock",we said it sucked and attacked the people. Then, they decided to lock us up. On our way to the "zoo",we heard a strange and loud noise coming from the "car next to us. At first it hurt our ears, but then a voice rang out from the insanity, a beautiful voice,bringing smiles to our faces. We started uncontrollably hopping up and down. The people in the car said, "Look at the monkeys moshing" So, we jumped in thier car and lived under thier beds ever since. We are very happy now that we have "Green Day" music.
