Newton's Laws of Motion

Newton's First Law of Motion:

An object at rest stays at rest
Unless acted upon by a force.
An object in motion stays in motion
Till something knocks it off its course.
So why on Earth does a ball when you roll it
Gradually come to an end?
Well, friction slows it down
That's the force, my friend.

Newton's Laws of motion!
Newton's second law of motion:

When force F acts 'pon mass M
You get acceleration A.
A is proportional to the force
Newton said that day.
Your object will accelerate
In the same direction as the force.
That is why when you pull a cart
It always follows your horse.

Newton's Laws of motion!
Newton's Third Law of Motion:

When one body exerts force
Upon a second one,
The second body exerts equal force
Back at body one.
So, if I'm drivin' in my car
And I crash into a tree,
The force with which I hit it
Will equally hit me.

Newton's Laws of motion!
These are Newton's laws of motion!

These three laws
Show the facts
That Newton did approve.
These three laws
Govern the ways
That all objects move.
