Towards the end of the day on Saturday, the adults were tired, the kids were tired, the robot was tired and everyone's ears hurt from the loud "BOOM-BOOM" music played throughout the day....in other words, WE HAD A GREAT DAY!!!!
A lot was learned about team work, compromise, quick analysis and graceful consideration of others.
The adults present could not imagine a better, more useful school related activity than the USFIRST contest. Thanks again to BASF for "showing us the money" and to Rame-Hart, for many hours of dedicated work.

In our last semi-final event, we were teamed with a great looking robot that used "tank-treads" instead of wheels (like us)...unfortunately, at the last minute, one of the tank treads failed, forcing us out of the semi-finals....we were a bit disappointed and we felt bad for our teammate, but not to worry!...We'll be back next year...stronger than ever!......

So how did we do against almost 40 teams?.....
....We got third place!!!!!
