"The Day I joined.." (Christmas in Space Remix) is a really good song, but
we did it after the CD was pressed. It's way better than 90% of the stuff
on "NSTaM".
"Pigeon Tom" was a cool straight jazz guitar song, but we couldn't get a
good version of it on tape. Too complex or something!
"All CUT UP.." is a cut up piece we did after "NSTaM". It's OK, not great.
The "I got arrested.." were all improvs that weren't used. Actually there
were a ton of improvs we didn't use, but those are the most notable.
"Far Fetched" (Original) is the most straight ahead Big Bop song ever. It's
just an accoustic guitar art rock song with real singing vocals and all.
We kept it off because it's just not Big Bop. It would have been cool to put
it on just to show some people we can do (so-called) "real music."
"Far Fetched"(Overzealous..Mix) was much like the space version, but it had
a cooler ending. The reason we kept it off was because when we recorded it
the guitars and vocals distorted REALLY bad. So we kept the "Plum Mix" on
the final cut.
"She likes.." was a really short guitar number. It was cool and just kind
of showing off. It would have been on, but I lost the tape of it.. So that
went that.
Sometime down the line we may repress/"remaster" this album to remove the
tape clicks and hiss that are present. Right now I think it adds to it, though.
