CROQUECITO
July 30th, 2000-Frazier Fairgrounds
HARDCORE CROQUET'S first ever tournament was a small affair, but we saw great action at the Frazier Fairgrounds! The Wizard of Wickets pulls out the first tournament victory in HARDCORE history. He defeats his nemisis, The Marquis of Mallets and a tough rookie Queen Achilles of Croquet (named for her unorthodox barefooted croquet-ing) Here are the final results:

Champion------The Wizard of Wickets, 14 points
Second ---------Queen Achilles of Croquet, 11 points
Third------------The Marquis of Mallets, 11 points (final Game not completed, thus the 3rd place finish.)




CROQUECITO II
August 3, 2000-Frazier Fairgrounds
HARDCORE CROQUET'S second tournament was as HARDCORE AS IT GETS! Played in 2 hours 45 minutes, in the dark, through a driving rain, AND thunderstorm. The Marquis of Mallets gets back on track, finishing 1st in 4 of the 6 Games, winning impressively. The Wizzard of Wickets finishes second, with a decent effort, and Queen Achilles of Croquet finished strong, winning the final Game. Here are the final results:

CROQUECITO III
August 10, 2000-Fraizier Fairgrounds
HARDCORE CROQUET hosted it's third tournament, and it was won by a ROOKIE! Stan Lazney smokes the field, two of the proven vets. Makes life interesting for the SSS 2K. Results are below!

WIZARD WINS IMPRESSIVELY!
August 27th 2000, Warren Park New Milford, NJ
HARDCORE CROQUET'S FIRST EVER MAJOR TOURNAMENT Championship goes to the Wizard of Wickets, who decimated a field of 4 to take the SUMMER SIZZLER SPECTACULAR 2000. Warren Park proved to be a great battle ground for the field. The Wizard collected 5 out of the six first place finishes, to capture the crown, with 22 of a possible 24 points! Second place went to Queen Achilles, and third to a rookie, The Cheater! The Marquis continues to slide, failing to register points in 3 of the 6 games. Here are the final results!

After a long winter, we are back at it!! The Marquis had lost 13 of 14 Challenges before dominating the Wiz in the latest match. It was so bad, that the Wizard lost his composure and intentionally uprooted wickets, balls and some other shrubbery. High comedy.
