A word of advice: This is a move that most breakers find the hardest to do!! If you have a weak neck and don't have good balance, do not try this move. No kidding!!! Some people have broken their neck from this move and it's extremely dangerous if you are not careful. If you think you can handle this move, then you may continue with my instructions. This move is pretty much self explanitory. You get into a headstand, and then spin on your head. Here's how you should practice this move:
1) First, get into a headstand position. If you can't do a headstand, practice a tripod, and then slowly lift up your legs until they are straight. Once you can hold this position for just about forever, move on to the next set of instructions.
2) Try to slowly walk yourself around in circles. Do not attempt to spin. Simply try to walk around in circles until you can do this fairly fast. Then, practice going into a headstand, and lifting away your hands for as long as you can . If you can stay balanced on nothing but your head for a good 2 seconds, then you are ready to move on.
3) Here is where the difficulties come in. Spread your legs so that they look similar to the blades of a helicopter. Then, wind your legs, and gently whip them around and push off with your hands. You should be able to get at least one quarter of a circle. Keep on practicing this until you are able to keep on doing these quarter circle spins. After that, try half circles, and then whole circles.
4) Once you can do whole circles continuously, you are ready to move on to spinning without your hands. Start off the headspin in the same motion, but whip your legs around and push as hard as you can without losing balance. Take away your hands and try to spin without them. If you can feel your legs pulling a little bit ahead of your body, then that means that you have gained enough momentinum to spin without hands. On the first try, you will probably at the most, get 1-1.5 of a circle, but if you keep on practicing...you will get this move down.
