Urals
are a rugged and fun mode of transportation , we've been selling these machines for over 4 years with excellent results. They come in single wheel drive (standard rear wheel) or two wheel drive (sidecar wheel driven or not). The sidecars are very comfortable , having it's own swingarm and shock make it a very smooth ride for any passengers. The bike also rides well. As you can see two "types" of fork assemblies are available a standard telescopic and an Earles type , both have their pros and cons. It depends on what type of roads you generally travel , nice well paved roads or combination paved and dirt roads ;We've also included some pictures of the 'other' projects we've finished and have underway.
Some of Those 'Other' Projects
The couple photos are of our baby, a /2 conversion outfit we finished some time ago. We used a complete 1974 BMW R90/6 drive train in a slightly modified mid 60's /2 frame with a Ural sidecar. It's a smooth, fast, and well handling outfit. Next we have a picture of the Honda CB500 with a "Spirit of America" sidecar.Another view of the bike is on the first page of our site. Mounts were made up to duplicate the attachment methods of BMW and Ural. Heavy wall tubing was turned to the correct inside and outside dimensions and then fishmouthed to fit the Honda frame for a large contact area. The next picture shows a 2000 Indian being set up with a Motorvation Spyder sidecar.
