The Webpage Thing

Okay, so here's the story: I haven't updated in years because the past few months I haven't been able to get into my editing thing. And ironically, that's the same reason that I started editing again! Neat how these things work. Now I've recently received a little slap on the hand for attempting to use indents in my essays section. In the words of one web-savvy guy, "it's bad form" for the web. I've abandoned the format and left it as it was . . . for now. But I'm still trying to decide if I want this page to be somewhat proper or just a splash of what I want to say. I know that I try to pretend that I don't really care about "good form" and all that, but I'm not really like that. I think I might want to have a neat site that mimics the type of site that wins awards and stuff. Not for the format, but for the content, but I imagine that spiffing up the format couldn't hurt either. And that's why I avoid making this an online journal (because let's face it, this kind of stuff doesn't go into a real journal). That and the fact that personal pages are usually boring. I hope this site is at least the kind of thing that a stranger can go to and think "hm, this is interesting/funny/cool, and I don't even know the person who made it." Like, you don't have to know me to think it's funny. Enjoyment of this site may require a reader with an exceedingly odd sense of humour who regularly attends therapy, but it does not necessitate contact of any kind with the webmaster. And so to resolve the situation, I need you. In yet another poll, I attempt to once again push the burden of decision upon the four or five people who bother to read this page. And I'll just wait til I'm good and ready to make the necessary changes or officially stop making necessary changes. The fate of format lies in your hands.
