Lonelieness, I know the word and the feeling well.
It's as empty as it sounds, and it sounds quite sad.
Lonelieness, you don't have to be alone to feel it's there.
The feeling it follows me everywhere.
It's haunting shadow I feel...
There it is on the stair.
It watches me and says, "try and hide if you dare."
Lonelieness, once it finds you, you can't escape.
Lonelieness, I know the word and the feeling well.
It's as empty as it sounds, and it sounds quite sad.
Lonelieness, it's with me everyday.
Lonelieness, it's driving me mad,
I feel so empty I feel so sad.
Once I wished to be alone and at times wish I were dead.....
