Striper in Connecticut

Here's some scenes from the 1991 fishing trip in Connecticut. I was hooked on stripers after this trip.

Ed with a keeper

Ed caught the second biggest fish that day. He thought otherwise. We kept comparing the our fish. If he stepped on his fish, it might be bigger than mine.

Butch with a fight

Butch had a good fight when we took this photo. I don't remember who caught the most fish that day. All I can say we reached our striper limit by late morning. It was time to come up with alternate fishing strategy to kill the rest of the trip.

Light tackle fishing

Break out the ultra lights. What an experience. I caught a bluefish this way.

We went another time when the waves were 20ft. A gale came up the coast and the captain offered us a refund. We opted to fish instead. We still caught stripers and blues that day in the churning seaweed. It would have yielded some great photos, but I couldn't manage the camera.
