It rained today. It rained and I could help but think that God was thinking of me. I was kind of sad about something...but then I realized this one truth. The rain falls on everyone.

Third Day has a song that says "I can't stop the rain from falling down on you again. I can't stop the rain, but I will hold you 'til it goes away.- When the rain comes you blame it on the things that you have done. When the storms rage you know the rain must fall on everyone. So rest awhile. No one loves you like I do."

I also read that God send rain onto the just and the unjust in the Gospel. Everyone gets the same general treatment in life. I also read in Corinthians that while we're here, we groan for our heavenly life...cuz this life won't satisfy us.

Life will never be perfect, and yet you find perfection in it. Not one person is exempt from the rain, the sufferings of this life. Sometimes things aren't your fault. Sometimes life just happens and no one's to blame. But remember, no one loves you like God does. Though life rains and storms around us, God rains down his love to us.
