I rise each morning before the Sun,
Many chores that need to be done,
The animals call for their feed,
So I must get it together,
Make the rounds to fill their need...

The Sun slowly awakes from her slumber,
I find a good seat to watch in wonder,
Time for my thoughts to drift back to you,
All through the day, this I will do...

Wishing you were here to share all I see,
Or maybe just to have you next to me,
To see your smile, to feel your touch,
I never thought I could want you so much...

Far away the job you must do,
This I understand, because I Love You,
I wait for your return,
Hoping it not to be too long,
Another day goes by and still you are gone,
Only in body, For I hold your Spirit,
Close to my Heart...

The day will come, when we are together,
These moments I will truly treasure,
For another job will come along,
Then off you go again to be gone,
This is your life, I know to be so,
For many times, I have watched you go...

Just think, each time you return,
We get to start anew,
Our love grows stronger each time that you do,
Sharing all that we have seen,
Listening to each other speak...

Welcoming the closeness of your touch,
Wanting to take in so much,
For this is needed to get by,
Until you return home again...

Now another day has come to it's end,
The Sun sets and the Moon does rise,
Darkness all around,
Only the light of the stars in the sky...

I speak to them softly,
In hopes that you will hear,
I tell them "Goodnight" and "I Love You",
My thoughts are of you before I sleep,
Sometimes in my dreams you will creep...
