Episode 15: Crossroads Chaos
It was the first day of school at Crossroads Junior
High for a small group of the Warriors. They had applied for an exchange
program and had been accepted. To help them out Serena, Ami, and Lita tagged
along.
As the first bell rang they pretty much ran for
home room, which was with Serena's old teacher, Miss Haruna. As they walked
in, everyone began to stare at them.
"Why are they ogaling us?" Matt asked.
"It's because you're not wearing uniforms," a nerdy
looking kid said.
"Oh, no, not Melvin," Serena gasped as she hid behind
Dan and Darren.
"Hi, I'm Melvin. Are you into computers and the
internet and stuff?" Alex, Richard, and Darren all said, "Yeah!",
at the same time. Each took out their own computers, varying from Alex's
lap top to Darren's palm top, and logged onto the internet. As they were
searching, Miss Haruna walked in. With everyone gathered around the new
students she cleared her throat to try to get her students' attention.
When that didn't work she raised her voice.
"SIT DOWN!!!!" Miss Haruna bellowed. Everyone took
their seats. She then introduced the new students.
"Class, we have some new students today. They're
from Newport Middle High, in Newport New Hampshire. They'll be studying
with us for about a month or so. Class, these are Alex West.... "
Alex waved to everyone in his own special way.
"Richard Doremus.... "
Richard arched an eyebrow.
"Danial Jensen... "
Dan gave a peace sign.
"Darren Wilder... "
Darren lifted his shades and winked at everyone.
"Mathias Emmerton.... "
Matt smiled and nodded to everyone.
"Stephen Huff... "
Steve smiled and gave a thumbs - up sign.
"And Tod Whipple."
Tod waved.
"Ok, you students are going to need uniforms."
Sweat drops formed on the heads of the warriors.
Alex stepped forward, using his big brown eyes and winning smile on Haruna.
"Excuse me Miss H, but we don't exactly do uniforms.
They're too constricting."
"Thank you for telling me Alex. Ok, you don't need
uniforms since you are exchange students. Now, take your seats and we'll
get on with class. Does anyone have any questions for our new students?"
"Yeah," Melvin said, "Would you be interested in
joining the AV club?"
"We'll get back to you," all the warriors said at
the same time. Sweat drops formed on everyone's heads.
"Yeah Melvin, let them get back ta' ya'," a girl
with red hair said, "I'm Molly."
"Nice to meet you," Matt said.
"Hey, Mol, how's things at home?" Serena asked,
"You over Maxfield yet?"
"Serena, principal's office NOW!!" Miss H commanded.
"Miss H, Serena is just catching up on old times,"
Steve said, "She has been away from her friends for so long it's only natural
for her to want to catch up."
"Ok, I'll allow this class period for catching up.
But tomorrow we get right down to business."
The day was spent answering questions and catching
up. When the last bell rang they filed out of the school, all the Warriors
with Serena, Lita, Ami, Molly, and Melvin. The group decided to check out
the park. As they walked past the duck pond a Negaverse monster appeared.
"Serena, get Molly and Melvin out of here!!" Lita
commanded.
"No problem," Serena answered, dragging Molly and
Melvin with her. Once they were gone, the Warriors and two Senshi decided
to transform.
"Jupiter Crystal Power... "
"Mercury Crystal Power.... "
"Make UP!!"
There were two flashes of light and there stood
Sailors Jupiter and Mercury.
"Now for us," Alex said, "Saturn Nova Power!!"
"Night Eclipse Power!"
"Hellfire Nova Power!"
"Arctic Chill Nova Power!"
"Thunderbolt Nova Power!"
"Solar Nova Power!"
"FireStar Nova Power!"
They transformed into the Star Warriors. Once that
was accomplished they turned to the monster and prepared to kick butt.
"Guys, get back," Warrior Saturn said, "I'm gonna
use my DEVESTATION capsule."
The others ran for the woods, leaving Saturn to
face the creature. Saturn reached into his tool belt and pulled out a small
black capsule marked DEV. He threw the capsule at the creature and dove
for cover. When the capsule exploded it formed an expanding pillar of energy
which devastated the creature and evaporated the lake. Once the smoke cleared,
it began to rain. As Saturn turned away something caught his eye. He lept
over the fence and waded to the glimmer. There he found a medallian with
a sun and a moon inside the sun. He took it and clasped it around his neck.
He then went to rejoin the others.
"Good," Rubeus said, "he took the medallian. With
it he'll turn all the students against them."
"Are you sure this will work?" Jedite asked.
"I'm positive. It has to. Warrior Saturn can not
resist jewelry with suns, moons, stars, and astrological signs."
"For your.... our... sake, this had better work."
The next day the Warriors walked into Miss Haruna's
homeroom, only to find her in a type of daze.
"Good morning Miss H. How are you?" Tod asked.
"I'm fine," Miss H said mechanically, "You students
need uniforms and haircuts."
The Warriors stepped back in shock. They checked
to see if it was the correct room. They then stepped back in.
"Excuse me Miss H, could you please repeat that?"
Alex asked.
"You especially need a hair cut. We can't have two
tone hair and that long braid now, can we?"
Alex fell back like he had been struck. The others
knew he wanted to cry or something, but he maintained and instead became
furious. He stood up, his eyes full of fire, smoke blowing from his nostrils.
At this point he pulled out his Saturn Pen and transformed into the Scout
in Black called Flare. The others followed, transforming into the SIB's
known as Shadow (Darren), Chill (Rich), T - Bolt (Steve), Nova (Tod), Blaze
(Matt), and Solaris (Dan). They then instructed the students to leave,
but nobody moved.
"We have problems," Chill said.
"Hey, Flare, when did you get that medallian?" Blaze
asked.
"I found it yesterday after we fought that Nega
Monster."
"Guys," T - Bolt said, "The students are advancing
on us."
The Scouts in Black began backing up until they
were in a corner. At this point they thought they were doomed until Mina
and Rei walked in the door. Upon seeing what was happening they took out
their power sticks and proceeded to transform.
"Venus Crystal Power... "
"Mars Crystal Power... "
"Make UP!!"
As soon as they transformed Sailor Mars took out
a scroll and began to chant.
"I call upon the powers of Mars... Fireballs....
CHARGE!!"
The scroll flew through the air and freed the evil
from Flare's medallian. The evil energy formed another Nega Monster. With
the evil personified, the spell wore off of the students and Miss H. When
they saw the monster they hit the road, fast!
"Now to take care of this jerk!" Shadow said, "Galaxia
Gun Fire!"
The energy attack slammed the creature into a wall.
The others quickly surrounded the creature and prepared to destroy it.
"Let's do it!" Blaze said, "Star Fire Storm!!"
"Shatter Star Break!"
"Aura Shock!"
"Diamond Saw!"
"Ice Ring Strike!"
"Flaming Whip!"
"Fire Soul!"
"Crescent Beam!"
With all the attacks striking it, the creature was
soon moon dusted. With this accomplished they returned to their mortal
forms and went to find the students and Miss Haruna.
When the creature was destroyed Rubeus and Jedite
saw it in the mirrors.
"Drat!" Rubeus said, "They vanquished another one
of my monsters!"
"The wise man won't like this!" Jedite said.
"Oh, shut up! I could seal you in another crystal
if I wanted!"
Jedite kept quiet and they went on plotting against
the Senshi.
"And then I said what!?" Miss Haruna said in disbelief
when the others brought her up to speed.
"Yeah, yeah, you said I needed a hair cut," Alex
said.
"I am so sorry if I hurt your feelings. To be honest
I think your hair is the coolest. I've thought of getting highlights myself."
"You don't need highlights," Dan said, kissing up,
"You're beautiful just the way you are."
"Thanks," Miss Haruna said, blushing. At this
point the bell rang, signaling the end of the day. The Warriors and all
five of the Sailor Senshi headed for the Cherry Hill Temple for the afternoon.
