Episode 11: Death and Rebirth

"This is central control calling the Sailor Teams. We desperately need your help. Someone is out for revenge. They have gone as far as to dress as Sailor Senshi. And... "

CRASH BOOM      "Wha... who are you? Aren't you Sailor Star Dancer?!"
     "No, I'm not Sailor Star Dancer. We're called the Dark Senshi and don't you forget it!!"
     The transmission faded to static and Sailor FireStar clicked the monitor off.
     "We received this transmission under an hour ago. It seems someone or something in the future has made clones of us or our friends and sent them on a mission of terror and destruction."
     There was silence for a couple minutes. Then Sailor Star Dancer spoke.
     "So, what's everyone doing for class night and graduation?"
     Sweat drops formed on everyone's heads.
     "Hey, it's a valid question."
     "You'll see what we have planned when the time comes," Sailor Thunderbolt said.
     "If nobody minds, we need to find and defeat these evil senshi before there's any more trouble," Sailor Nova said.
     "We'll split into our usual groups, except Alex will go with Dan, Derek, and Joss," Sailor FireStar said, "that way, if they are attacked, their dark senshi powers would come in handy."
     Just then the wall exploded inward and in leapt ten somewhat familiar forms. Everyone looked up to see the people and the reaction was shocking, for they were the Moon Senshi, five Star Senshi, and Sailor Neo - Neptune.
     "Greetings, Sailor Failures," the dark Sailor Arctic Chill spat, "we've stopped by to say we're going to crash all your major events and terrorize all your friends because if you destroy us, you'll destroy yourselves and change the time line."
     "I'll make you eat those words!!" a voice said. Everyone looked up to see Sailor StarBurst standing in the shadows.
     "Star Burst Flare Flash!!!!"
     There was an intense flash of light from her daggers, followed by several blasts of colored plasmoids directed at the evil senshi. The blasts struck them and sent them flying. At the same time the ten they were modeled after flew in the opposite direction. They, the good senshi, quickly recovered and leapt into the air. As they they leapt they produced their weapons and prepared to attack.
     "Star Hammer!!"
     "Wind Whip!!"
     Sailors Star Dancer and Io released their attacks at the same time, aiming for their doubles. The wind whip split in two and wrapped up both of their evil doubles. Sailor Star Dancer's hammer flew through the air and struck the doubles, causing an explosion that would have destroyed most normal people. But when the smoke cleared, their doubles were still there and free of the wind whip.
     "Now you'll see what we can do, Sailor Wimps," Sailor Io's double said, "Star Smasher, the ball is in your court!!"
     "Right," Sailor Star Smasher said. He drew a sword similar to Star Dancer's, leapt into the air, and prepared to attack.
     "Dark Star Crash!!"
     The beam which flew from the blade of the sword shattered into hundreds to dark stars, which rained down upon the good senshi and exploded, sending all of them for a loop. As soon as they recovered, the Star Senshi leapt into the air, drew their weapons, and prepared to attack.
     "Blazing Blade Boomerang!!"
     "T - bolt Wave!!"
     "Flame Star Streak!!"
     "Orion Star Sword Slash!!"
     "Halo Laser Cut!!"
     "Glacial Freeze!!"
     "Iron Rock Crusher!!"
     Hellfire's boomerang attack struck each of the senshi, preventing them from producing their weapons. Thunderbolt's wave attack struck with enough force to prevent attack for a couple minutes. FireStar's beam attack combined with Star Dancer's attack, which combined with Nova's attack, which pretty much finished the job. Arctic Chill's freeze power turned flesh and blood into ice. Finally, Earth's attack dealt a crushing blow to the evil senshi.
     As the final waves of the attacks died down, all viewed the aftermath of the destructive force. The evil senshi were destroyed and the five Star Senshi, the Moon Senshi, and Sailor Neo - Neptune all lay dying. The rest of the Sailor Senshi ran to their sides.
     "Is there some way we can help you??" Sailor Moon asked, "I could try my Moon Healing."
     "Don't waste your strength," Sailor Star Dancer gasped, "you must head for the world of Mana and Death Peak. There you can use the Chrono Trigger and the revivafier to bring us back."
     "But you need a personal possession from each of us," Sailor Hellfire said, "Nichole, please take my pendant. Do the same for the others. For the Moon Senshi, their transformation wands. For Tony, his trident."
     "Serena, come here for a moment," Sailor Star Dancer said. As soon as Sailor Moon was near him, he lifted his right arm into the air.
     "Please, take my class ring."
     "You mean the large one??"
     "That's the one. Please, take it and protect it. That's my ticket back. But also take one of my daggers and give it to Derek, Dan, and Joss."
     As soon as Serena took the dagger from Alex's thigh scabbard he vanished in a shower of light and bubbles. The other nine followed in suit, leaving their friends to cry. Serena slipped Alex's ring onto her finger and to her surprise it fit.

     At the moment the past senshi vanished, the Sailor Senshi in 2035 vanished, leaving the dream police to rule supreme. The same thing occurred in 2078, with Sailors Neo Saturn and Neptune Vanishing, plus the other four in that group. At that moment their communicators came to life.
     "Sailor Moon calling guardian of time. Come in Setsuna."
     "Setsuna here. What is the situation princess??"
     "Star Dancer and four of the Star Senshi, plus the Moon Senshi and Sailor Neo - Neptune are down. Before they went, Alex said something about a Chrono Trigger and a revivafier and a place called Death Peak. Do you know of this place?"
     "Very much so. This is Sailor Sun, and back a long time ago we met some people from 2035 and ended up in the world of Mana. I sacrificed myself and my friends brought me back."
     "Well, we need a portal to the world of Mana. Can anyone help us??"
     "Ask Shirly. She's my earlier incarnation so she should be able to do it quite easily."
     "Thanks. Sailor Moon out."

     There was no feeling where he was. There was just emptiness. Yet he could sense those who were with him. Ana was upset. Dorrie was pissed. May was sad. Crystal was drifting aimlessly, but he sensed she was uncomfortable. Matt was depressed. Richard longed for everything to be ok. Tod and Steve were trying to remain calm, but they couldn't hide their depressing. Tony was mad as hell.
     'Where are we?' Alex thought. A voice quickly answered, "You are in eternity." That was when the world went topsy turvy. There was a flash of light and flames and as they surveyed their surroundings, they could see they were in hell. They also saw they were bare ass naked.
     "Well, well, well, if it isn't the famous Sailor Senshi!" a voice boomed, "Welcome to your new home!!"
     Flames shot up around them and tried to capture them, but they were too quick and managed to dodge.
     "We must transform," Alex said, closing his eyes. The others did the same. There were ten flashes of light and they had become the Sailor Senshi once again. Just then the demon appeared and began a battle with stakes higher than any before.
     When they saw the demon, they immediately reacted.
     "First we need to cool his jets," Alex said, warming up for one of his attacks, "Ring Shot!!"
     Ten rings of ice fired from his fist, cooling the demon a little. But the flames quickly rekindled to full intensity.
     "Need some help?" Richard and Tony asked, each preparing for attack.
     "Cold Wild Fire!!!"
     "Tidal Blast!!"
     The two water attacks struck the monster and cooled him down, but before the flames could regenerate, Alex attacked again.
     "Ice Ring Strike!!"
     His crown produced an antenna, which created four rings of ice. The rings swirled around his body. He threw his hands forward, sending the rings at the demon. As the rings closed in, he used his Ring Shot move once again. When all the rings struck, the demon was frozen in solid ice.
     When Steve saw the opportunity, he created a sphere of thunder energy.
     "Saionara scum bucket!" he said, winding up to launch, "Thunder Ball!!!"
     The sphere flew through the air like a bird. The moment it made contact with the frozen demon, it exploded, sending the demon to eternal rest.
     "Now that he's taken care of, what more can we do?" Tod asked. His question was soon answered.

     As the deceased senshi were battling the demons of hell, their friends were trekking through the world of Mana in search of the revivafier After journeying for hours, Lita finally cracked.
     "STOP!!" she bellowed, causing birds to scatter and everyone to have heart failure, "This is hopeless," she continued, "we've been everywhere! The Dwarf Village, the Upper Land, the Fire Palace, the Water Palace, Undine's cave, the Moogle Village, EVERYWHERE!! And no one can tell us how to get to the revivafier!!!"
     "Well, I'm not about to give up," Rei said, "our friends need us. Hell, they're counting on us!!"
     "I wish I knew a way to find Death Peak," Ami said.
     "Why not use your visor to scan for it?" Nichole asked.
     "That just might work," Ami said, activating her VR visor. She scanned for a couple minutes before deactivating it.
     "I found it!" she beamed, "It's several miles south of here."
     "That's fantastic!!" Serena exclaimed, "We can save our friends now!"
     "Wait!" Shirly said, "Didn't Alex say something about a Chrono Trigger??"
     "I found that in my scan also," Ami added, "It's twenty minutes north - north west of our present location."
     "Which means we need to split up," Dan said.
     "The Sailor Senshi, Outer Senshi, and Starlights are with me," Ami said, "Everyone else goes with Dan. Meet us at Death Peak as soon as possible!!"
     "Right!!" they all said before splitting up.

     As the Neo - Senshi, Neo - Outer Senshi, and the remaining Star Senshi trudged through the forest, their only thoughts were of reviving their friends and being a team again. They were so absorbed in their thoughts that they didn't see the large dragon until it breathed flame in their direction. They all scattered, avoiding being toasted. They reacted quickly and eventually overcame their opponent. After defeating the dragon, they were joined by the six Mystic Senshi. As they proceeded, Rachel and Matt Heath caught a glimpse of pink hair. A couple seconds later a little girl ran at warp speed and wrapped herself around Matt's leg.
     "Reeny!" Rachel exclaimed, "What are you doing here?!"
     "I came to find my Mathias!" Reeny chirped, "I see he's not here," she said, her face falling expressionless.
     "Well... um," Dan said, "there was a battle and.... "
     Reeny's eyes grew wide as she absorbed what Dan was saying.
     "Reeny, I'm afraid Matt's not coming back for a real long time," Amanda said, stooping down to Reeny's level.
     "You mean.... he's.... dead," Reeny replied, tears forming in her eyes and her voice dropping on the last word.
     "We're on our way to get the one thing we need to revive them," Joss said, "would you like to come with us?"
     Before Joss could finish his sentence, Reeny had wrapped her arms around his neck. With that they continued on their quest for the Chrono Trigger.

     As the demon breathed flames upon the Star Senshi, they moved quickly and expertly. Alex performed several rapid back hand springs into a wall. He continued up the wall and upon reaching a perfect height, flipped off of the wall. He curled up into a ball, where upon reaching the correct amount of RPM's, called out his attack.
     "Cannon Ball Kick!!"
     When he neared the monster, he kicked his legs out straight and planted his feet in the back of the enemy. The demon shrieked in pain. To add insult to injury Tod, Steve, Matt, and Richard combined their powers.
     The four took their crowns and combined them, the gems glowing brilliant colors before there was a flash of light. A second later they were holding the weapon they had when they battled Gelax.
     "Time to take out the trash!" Tod said, "Crescent Beam!!"
     The laser struck the demon and burned a hole in its chest.
     "Fire Soul!!"
     Matt's fireball burned off some body parts of the demon.
     "Supreme Thunder!!"
     "Shine Aqua Illusion!!"
     Steve's and Richard's attacks destroyed the demon. But yet another monster appeared in the first one's place.
     "This is getting boring," Dorrie said, "I'm going to finish this one. Whirl Wind Rage!!"
     "Dripping Wildfire!!"
     "Breaking Monolith!!"
     "Spinning Shards!!"
     The attacks of the Moon Senshi destroyed yet another monster. But as patterns go, another one appeared to replace the first.
     "This is getting repetitive!" Tony commented as they dodged shot after shot.
     "I'm 'bout ready to go critical!" Alex said as his eyes, not to mention his rings and pendant glowed. He then began a tornado spin.
     "Twister!!!"
     Twin tornadoes erupted and struck the demon, inflicting extreme damage. As soon as Alex finished his spin, he placed his hands together at the heels of his hands with his palms facing the demon. Energy gathered and he called forth another attack.
     "Omega Flare!!!"
     A ring of dark energy danced over the demon, ending its existence in a flash of dark fire. As soon as that demon was vanquished, another appeared, just as eager to be blown away.
     As the senshi battled, they didn't notice the strange masked man until he fired roses in the direction of the monster. The roses smacked the creature and blinded it temporarily.
     "Attack now Sailor Senshi!!" the man said.
     "Who are you?" Matt asked.
     "He's dreamy!" Ana said to Crystal. Crystal agreed.
     "I am Tuxedo Mask!" the man said.
     "So you're Serena's main crush!?" Alex said.
     "Uh... um... you might say that!"
     Just then the demon attacked again and came close to ending their after lives.

     As the group stumbled through the under brush of the forest, they weren't expecting to find a huge temple. As they entered, Jess began to pick up some bad vibes.
     "This place is creeping me out," Jess said.
     "Duck!" Dan yelled as he tackled Jess to the floor. A large fireball passed over their heads and out the door.
     "You ever get the feeling you're not welcome?" Cathy asked.
     Just then three more fireballs passed over their heads.
     "I'm going to end this once and for all!" Jubilee said as she stood up, "Mercury Ice Storm Blast!!!"
     Jubilee's attack froze all incoming fireballs and put the producer out of commission. With that threat gone they continued on. After a couple minutes they reached the main chamber. In the center of the room, sitting on a pedestal, was some sort of an egg.
     "Is that the Chrono Trigger?" Lizz asked.
     "I believe so," Jubilee said.
     "So let's take it and make a run for the mountain," Dan said, "our friends may be in some kind of trouble!"
     Brian, not even listening to what was going on, walked up to the pedestal and took the egg. A couple seconds later the temple began to cave in.
     "We need to get out of here!" Doug said as he took on his mystic form. The other five Mystic Senshi helped to transport the others out. The second they exited the temple the whole place collapsed in on itself.
     When everyone regained their senses, they could see it was night.
     "We must camp here," Brian said when he saw what time it was.
     "We can't camp here," Dan protested.
     "Why's that?"
     "This place was where my future self bought the farm. It'd be bad luck to stay."
     Just then there was a rustling sound in some bushes near where they stood.
     "What was that?" Reeny asked.
     "I don't know," Rachel said.
     "I'm getting bad vibes," Jess said, "be ready for a fight!"
     As she said that, five unknown forms leapt from the bushes and surrounded the group. In a matter of seconds the Sailor Senshi had their weapons drawn and were ready for a battle.
     "Ok people," Juliet said, "Let's show these creeps what we can do!!"
     "Right!" the other senshi said before they began attacking.

"Mars Firestorm Flash!" "Jupiter Thunderstorm Crash!" "Mercury Ice Storm Blast!!" "Venus Meteor Shower!!" "Moon Scepter Elimination!" "Dead Scream." "Uranus Meteor Strike!" "Prominence Ultra Flare!!" "Sun Flaming Whip!" "Crater Crush!" "Black Hole!" For the first time the Mystic Senshi used their attacks. "Talon Shock!" "Firebird Strike!" "Freeze Breath!" "Blaze Breath!" "Crescent Claw Slash!" "Shocking Wing Sweep!" The mysterious forms took the heat, then redirected the energy back at the senshi. The senshi dodged everything that came back at them and prepared to counter attack. The battle raged until the mysterious creatures leapt away from the senshi. There was a flash of intense light and right before the eyes of the Sailor Senshi, the creatures increased their size by 500%.
When the Sailor Senshi saw what they were up against, they all shouted at the same time, "Perforated Turd!!!"

     "Blazing Blade Boomerang!!"
     Matt's attack brought an end to demon 499. All the Senshi grabbed a quick breath before demon 500 appeared. And this one was ugly, for it had the appearance of a praying mantis.
     "That thing is wicked BUG!!" Dorrie said. Everyone agreed.
     "So, boys," the creature hissed, releasing a cloud of some scent, "who wants to mate with me?!"
     "Definitely not me!" Alex said, "Right guys?!"
     When he got no response he looked to see the other five guys moving towards the demon. When the creature wrapped its claws around Matt, Tod, Steve, Richard, and Tony, he completely lost it. He clasped his hands together in front of his body, then wound up. He then flung a large sphere of energy at the creature, striking the arm which held Richard. Alex then used his wrist band to create a grappling hook. The hook caught onto the back of Richard's vest and reeled him in to safety before the demon could take a bit out of him.
     As soon as Richard was safe, he said to Alex, "Thanks for the save. I don't know what came over me."
     "Well, it's not over yet," Alex said, glancing at the other four who were still in the creature's clutches.
     "Alex," Tuxedo Mask yelled, "use the sonic blasters on your wrist band!!"
     "I don't know how to," Alex called back.
     "Just look deep inside yourself. There you'll find the power!"
     Alex closed his eyes. He then concentrated. Images of his friends floated in the darkness. Sadness was replaced by fury and anger. His eyes snapped open and he activated his wrist band. The configuration shifted to a strange looking cannon.
     "Hey, ugly!" Alex snarled. As the bug turned its head, Alex aimed the blaster at the monster and shouted, "Suck on these vibes!!"
     Ear - piercing shrieks filled the air. The monster went ballistic, flailing as its nervous system went crazy. In the fury of the moment Matt, Tod, Steve, and Tony were flung to safety. They rejoined their friends and prepared to vanquish monster 500.
     "Matt, prepare for your boomerang attack. Tony, Richard, I want the two of you to pool your powers over water and ice and prepare to blast the flames. Everyone else, be prepared to dodge incoming junk. Ready?!"
     "Sailor Senshi!!" they all shouted as they linked hands.
     Matt and Alex turned towards the flailing form of the mantis monster and looked at it in disgust. Matt took his axe from its sub space pocket and began to spin it. At the same time Alex extended his right arm above his head, calling forth a ring of energy. The two then commenced their attacks.
     "Blazing Blade Boomerang!!"
     "Destructo Disk Engage!!"
     The two blades flew through the air and struck the demon, slicing and dicing like any gourmet chef could. As this occurred, Richard concentrated his ice powers into a single sphere.
     "Cryo - Blast!!"
     The sphere made contact with the fire and exploded, smothering the flames. At the same time Tony took his trident and aimed it at his teammates.
     "Neptune Bubble Shield!"
     Bubbles formed around each of the Sailor Senshi, shielding them from flying junk. As soon as the debris stopped flying, the bubbles disappeared and left the senshi floating in space.
     "I never thought I'd see it," Tony said.
     "What, the day hell froze over," Steve replied. Sweat drops formed on everyone's heads.
     "Very funny Steve," Tod said, holding back a snicker.
     "So, since we've stopped the demons," Alex said, "What do we do now?"
     "I guess we just wait around," Dorrie said.
     "Hey, what happened to Tuxedo Mask?" Crystal asked. Everyone looked around at the frozen landscape.
     "I haven't got a clue," Matt said, "It's like he just vanished or something."
     "You think he knows a way out?" Ana asked.
     "Who knows?" May said, "All I know is we need our friends to find that revivafier before we can return to our own world."
     "Let's hope they find it soon," Dorrie said, "all we can do for now is hope."

     "This isn't working!" Dan yelled as he dodged yet another attack.
     "Maybe they'd enjoy sucking on this!" Lizz said as she leapt through the air, "Sky Gate!!"
Sheets of lightning cascaded around the monsters, blinding some and injuring others.
     "Jubilee!" Brian shouted, "We need some cover!!"
     "Right!" Jubilee called back, "Mercury Bubbles Blast!!"
     Many bubbles burst forth, creating a massive fog bank. But just one type of cover wasn't enough, for the monsters were equipped for infrared battles. They quickly attacked the senshi, severely wounding Sailor Nova.
     As the scream pierced the air, Brian ran to Rachel's side.
     "Are you going to be all right?" Brian asked, battling back tears.
     "I'll be *COUGH* fine," Rachel replied before a shudder shook her frame, "I'm trying to heal myself, but I need some time."
     "I'll buy that time for you," Brian said as he took his pike from its sub - space pocket. HE put it above his head and began to spin it. Dust began to swirl around, creating a storm of sorts.
     "Dust Storm Shroud!!"
     Dirt, dust, and sand whipped through the air, stinging their skin. But the enemies were blinded by all the dust and junk flying through the air. The shroud provided Sailor Nova enough time to recover and for the Sailor Senshi to come up with a plan.
     "We need to strike them hard and fast with everything we've got!" Doug said.
     "Let's do it!" they all cheered before they took to the sky. They lined up, back to back, forming a large circle. Each of the senshi were prepared to sacrifice themselves so that their friends might be returned to them.
     "Now!" Brian shouted, "Lava Plume!!"

"Aurora Slash!" "Flare Force Burn!" "Prominence Ultra Flare!" "Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" "Mercury Ice Storm Blast!!" "Moon Gorgeous Mediation!" "Jupiter Thunderclap Zap!" "Venus Love Chain Encircle!" "Ultimate Dark Grenade!" "Gem Hurricane!" "Talon Shock!" "Firebird Strike!" "Blaze Breath!" "Freeze Breath!" "Crescent Claw Slash!" "Shocking Wing Sweep!"      As soon as all the attacks struck, there was a tremendous explosion followed by bits and pieces of alien guts flying upward. As soon as the smoke cleared, the Sailor Senshi could see they had been triumphant.
     "Did we do that?!" Brad asked in disbelief.
     "Holy Jesus!" John gasped.
     "I never knew we were that strong!!" Justin exclaimed.
     "If only Alex could see this!" Nick said. Everyone turned and gave him a dirty look. A sweat drop formed on his head as he said, "Sorry. I forgot."
     Just then their communicators beeped.
     "Serena calling Neo - Senshi. What the heck was that explosion?!"
     "Serena, this is Reeny," the little girl said into Joss's communicator, "that explosion was us sending some way horrible creatures to their end!"
     "Reeny!" Serena sounded shocked. She remained calm and said, "It's too dangerous for you to be here. Who knows what's out there?"
     "Relax. I'm one of Matt's friends and I want to see him again so I'm staying."
     "She's got a point, Meat Ball Head," Rei butted in.
     "Ooooooh, don't call me THAT!!!" Serena shrieked Sweat drops formed on the heads of everyone on Reeny's end.
     "Guys, this is Mina. Get here as soon as you can, OK?"
     "We'll see you in a few!" Rachel said, "Neo - Senshi over and out!"
     With that the Neo - Senshi took off for Death Peak, where they would use the Chrono Trigger to revive their friends.

     As soon as the Neo - Senshi and the Mystic Senshi reached Death Peak, they handed the Chrono Trigger over to Ami. Ami took the egg over to a small platform and wired it into the computer system.
     "Ok," Ami said, "it's ready. Serena, everyone else, put their personal possessions on the main platform."
     One by one the people who held the personal possessions of the Moon Senshi, the Star Senshi, and Sailor Neo - Neptune stepped forth and placed the items upon the central platform. As soon as they stepped back, Ami said, "Now, hope this works."
     With that she threw the switch, drawing energy from the Chrono Trigger. Seconds past. Then disaster struck. The Chrono Trigger exploded. When everyone saw this their hopes fell.
     "It exploded," Serena gasped, "we'll never get them back now." Then, she began to cry.
     As she wailed, Alex's class ring began to glow. The crescent moon and star on the stone concentrated a mass of energy and fired it at the platform where the Chrono Trigger had stood. The energy super charged the machine and began the revitalization process. There was a flash of light and off stepped the Moon Senshi, all looking dazed and confused. Another flash of light brought forth Neo - Sailor Neptune, walking as if he was drunk. Yet another brought forth four of the Star Senshi, all happy to be home. There was another flash of light, which didn't bring anyone forth.
     At this sight Serena's heart broke. She began to cry again, even harder this time. Everyone else began to cry also.
     "Alex," Serena wailed, "why did this have to happen?!" She began to remember the time Alex tried to teach her to roller blade.
     "It's easy," he said, performing tricks similar to those of a figure skater.
     "No it's not!" Serena had wailed, falling for the 100th time that day.
     By the time she got the hang of it, it was late in the evening, but she was learning fast. Alex didn't even laugh when she tried a jump and ended up kissing a telephone pole. Heck, Alex wiped out on purpose to show her it was ok to make mistakes.
     "Alex, please come back to us," Rei said, remembering the time she and Alex used Tarot Cards to predict what time Serena would show up for the Sailor meeting.
     "We need you Alex," Lita said, choking back a sob and remembering the time Alex cooked her a special dinner.
     "We miss you Alex," Mina sobbed, remembering all the shopping trips the two of them had taken together.
     "Alex, please return to our world," Ami cried, recalling all the times she and Alex had spent scanning for Negaverse activity and measuring Serena's wail on the decibel scale.
     By now everyone was in tears, clutching one another in mourning. They weren't aware of the power they possessed when all was in harmony until a familiar voice said, "What's with the tears? Did someone die here?"
     Everyone turned to the platform to face Alex, his clothes a bit of a mess. At the sight, Serena ran up and flung herself around his neck. Though everyone else didn't want to admit it, they missed all the trouble Alex had caused.
     By the time Alex finished explaining why he was late returning, it was dawn in the World of Mana. The Sailor Senshi were all exhausted and in need of sleep. But there would be no rest for the weary. At least not for the moment.

In 2035 the Moon Senshi and Star Senshi reappeared just in time to kick the butts of the governor and his twisted dream police. In 2078 when the six returned it was quite a shock and pleasure, for Chloe, Tara, and Spirit, not to mention their friends, had been worried sick. The two time periods were whole again and the flow of time had been restored.

     In the World of Mana the group trudged on for what seemed like hours until they came to a clearing. There they witnessed some strange looking people sending balloons into the air with some funky looking electronics attached.
     "What are they doing?" Justin asked.
     "Doesn't look good," Chris said.
     "Should we stop them?" Doug asked.
     "Let's," Brad said, taking an interesting weapon from his belt.
     "What is that?" Tod asked.
     "It's called the Crescent Claw Boomerang. It's my weapon."
     "Wild!" Richard said.
     "How's it work?" Serena asked.
     "Like this," Brad said as he threw the boomerang. The crescent streaked through the air, striking several balloons on the first pass and striking the remaining on the second. The people looked up from what they were doing and charged at the Sailor Senshi. Three of the other Mystic Senshi produced their weapons and prepared to do battle. The other Sailor Senshi also prepared to do battle.

"Blaze Wall!!" "Acid Storm!!" "Lucent Beam!!" "Evil Gate!!" "Burst!!" "Lunar Magic!" "Gem Missiles!!" "Air Blast!!"      Eight elemental attacks were called upon and decimated all except one person. That person was left to do battle with each one of the Sailor Senshi. But the Sailor Senshi weren't expecting the person to become the dreaded Mana Beast.
     "Woah," Joss said, "we are in serious trouble!!"
     "No kidding," Lizz said, "we're toast!!"
     Just then a fairly large lion made of earth energy appeared. In the center was none other than Ben Ross and Lydia Deetz.
     "How did Ben gain Sailor Powers?" Brian asked.
     "Who cares!" Cathy said, "He's saving our butts at the moment!"
     "Ok scumball," Ben said, "The name's Sailor Earth Lion and you're toast. Diamond Claw Swipe!!"
     The mighty lion produced diamond sharp claws and took a swipe at the Mana Beast, inducing deep cuts in the beast's thick skin.
     "He could use some assistance," Doug said. The other Mystic Senshi nodded as their respective animals formed around them. "Talon Shock!" "Firebird Strike!" "Freeze Breath!" "Blaze Breath!" "Crescent Talon Slash!" "Shocking Wing Sweep!!"      Six more attacks struck the Mana Beast and reduced it to little more than a myth. The Mystic Senshi had proven themselves to be powerful. As soon as they finished patting one another on the back, they landed. Shirly then opened a gateway back to central control. Once there they recorded their latest mission in the computer, returned to their mortal forms, and headed home for some well deserved rest. The End.
