Trucking is the life I chose 25 years ago and I am glad that I did so. Up until 8 yrs ago I was a cross country trucker and have been in all 48 states and 3 provinces in Canada. Before becoming a trucker I had only been in the surrounding states of NH where I live but wanted to see more of our country. I had friends that were truckers and decided that I wanted to become one myself. Once becoming a trucker I got to start traveling around the country and getting to see things I thought I never would have the opportunity to in my life. I have seen the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, Niagara Falls, Mt St Helens and even Disney World in Florida just to mention a few amongst many other places that most people don't get to see unless they vacation there. There are alot of beautiful sites in this country that people can only dream about or read about in books that I have seen in my travels. I have pulled all kinds of trailers, flat beds, reefers, dry vans and containers just to mention a few. I also have driven a variety of tractors such as Freightliners, Kenworths, GMC's, Volvos from cabovers to conventionals. Of course the conventionals are my favorite as they are better handling trucks as well as they are alot more spacious to live in.
