Appearance - Straight blonde hair, blue/violet eyes, 6'4'', 165lbs, thin but muscular build. He often looks rather brooding.
Personality - Seeimngly rather cold and distant. Antoine is slow to trust and even slower to forgive. A loner by nature, or is he? He tends to keep to himself and keep his emotions bottled up inside him. He is a very private person and his thoughts are sacrosanct to him. Very few people have ever seen him truly open up. He cares deeply for Paige and would give his life for her. He knows that she has a son and that it's his, this troubles him a great deal and he isn't sure how to handle it.
History - Antoine's past has always been a locked box to him. He does not know his history.
Antoine's mother's name was Marie Clairice Renaldi. She was a full blooded Lupine from a strong family line of Lupines. She was kidnapped in February of 1622 from her home in Russia and taken to a secret lab run by a group of independant vampires. They recieved funding for other projects from the Vampire Council of Elders. The Elders never knew of these experimentations, and they are still unaware of exactly what the research entails.
Marie Clairice Renaldi was imprisoned in that lab and raped by an unknown vampire. His name and information has been lost over time. She became pregnant. The vampires restrained her and began a series of treatments to alter the genetic structure of her child. Up till then there had been little or no record of this kind of mixing of vampiric and lupine genetics. In November gave birth to a son. She named him Andrei before she was shot and killed and Andrei was taken into the custody of the scientists.
They were very angry when it became readily apparant that the child was almost wholly Lupine, vampirism being a more recessive trait.
By the time Andrei was four years old he was being subjected to large amounts of vampiric blood and though at first the doses nearly killed him, he was able to work up an immunity. The treatment slowed his aging and by the time he was 25 years old, in the year 1647. He went into a rage and broke out of the lab.
He escaped and began what would become a lifelong vendetta against the Council of Elders. Because of extensive research done on his mannerisms the experimentor, a rather unscrupulous vampire named Victor, has been able to track him down each time he has escaped and brings him back in. His memories erased and towards the more modern era they are now stored on computer.
Andrei has had many love affairs over the years and in them he has fathered two children. One ill fated daughter by a lovely young woman named Kristen, both she and her infant daughter were killed by Victor and his hired thugs when they came to reclaim Andrei. More recently there was a child with Paige Spencer, Antoine, as Andrei currently calls himself, loves them both very much, though he has never seen his son Toby, at least not that he can remember.
Antoine, probably the closest to Andrei's actual personality, came into being around the very beginning of the 20th century. The illusions crafted to hold him under the wing of the Elders, broke entirely, leaving him to draw what conclusions he would. He lived as Antoine for the entire 20th Century and fell in love with Paige in the new century. Thiers has hardly been a perfect relationship but Antoine cares very deeply for her.
