Episode 1

Setting-a beautiful day at Kurashiki near the masaki shrine...

Yosho:

"Tenchi...Tenchi! Now where did he go? hmmmm..."

Tenchi is sitting inside searching for something...

Tenchi:

"ahhh"...~he stretches~ "Where did he put them? let's see"~Tenchi rummages~ (the door opens suddenly and Tenchi is startled... he relaxes when he sees that it is only a kitten.)

Yosho:

~Yosho sneaks up behind Tenchi~ "It was curiousity that killed the cat, Tenchi..." ~Yosho pulls out a set of rusted keys~ "I bet you were looking for these..."

Tenchi:

"So that's where you put them...i...oops..."

Yosho:

"You weren't trying to sneak in there against my orders, were you?"

Tenchi:

"No, i wasn't"

Yosho:

It is the ancient law of this Masaki shrine, and you are no exception to that legacy...but really, you want tosee what's in there don't you? Here they are Tenchi...if you can take them from me. Let's see how good you really are..."

Tenchi:

"hmmm" ~Tries to punch Yosho~~Yosho catches his hand easily and throws him through a wall~

Yosho:

"Work harder...and remember: Your chores are part of your training."~Tenchi turns and he has the keys in his mouth~ (Opening title)

Tenchi:

~Running outside towards the shrine~ "Curiousity killed the cat... lucky for me I'm not a cat..hahaha" ~Tenchi stands at the front of the shrine in front of some rusty gates~ "Whoah"

Yosho:

~*FLASHBACK*~ "Tenchi! Boy!!! Why must you come here time after time when you know it's not allowed?"

Young Tenchi:

"But why is that, Grandpa?"

Yosho:

"I'll tell you why, my boy...a demon sleeps here..."

Young Tenchi:

"A demon...NO!"

Yosho:

"It's true...Now listen carefully for what I am about to tell you really happened...It was a long time ago, a demon came here from the sky. Its strength was enormous and terrible. It destroyed villages...Burned everything...and our people suffered greatly because of its evil powers..."
