This child of yours wouldn't have to die
If only you would stop and say, "no"
Abortion is an act so low

You have no respect for human life
You chose abortion so you'd have no strife
There is nothing crueler than this
Your own poor child you won't even miss

I was hoping I could change your mind
And get the child out of this bind
But since you chose to follow through
The dirty job the doctor's starting to do:

Pain relievers are being provided for you
But not for the baby, too
The baby will suffer in great pain
While you lie there in disdain

Now the doctor's reaching up inside
There's nowhere for the child to hide
Broken up and ripped from your womb
The trash can will now be it's tomb

You know this procedure wasn't painless
How can you be so shameless?
Your unborn baby wasn't a machine
This was actually a human being!

You tell the doctor you've changed your mind
But it's far too late to be so kind
The blood has already been shed
Because of you, the child is dead

It's too bad you didn't think twice
And kept in mind the price
Your poor child just had to pay
So you could have your selfish way
