Oh, Mommy and Daddy
Why, do you always fight?
Can't you be more like me and Teddy
And, hold each other tight?
Teddy told me he loves me
With all of his might.
Oh, Mommy and Daddy
Why do you always fight?
These words are just a memory
But, they ring out loud and clear
When I think of my sweet baby
And her big brown teddy bear.
You see, my baby girl's in heaven
God took her there, one night.
Her words come back so haunting
Why do you and Dady always fight?
She rests in a tiny grave
Where the weeping willows grow.
And upon her tiny grave sits Teddy
How he got there, no one will ever know.
Each time I visit her resting place
To lay new flowers fresh and bright,
The wind there in the weeping willows
Chant: Why do you and Daddy always fight?
Deep down inside, my heart is broken.
But, as I bow my head in prayer
I swear, I see teardrops sadly falling
From the eyes.........of her big, brown teddy bear.
