===================Mission 6 Begins=================== ====================Session Begins==================== Whooo-who (finally ...) 8,1* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * OUTPOST ALPHA-1 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * (I didnt expect you guys to wait for me, but ok) (I decided I wanted at least 3 players for this mission . . .) You approach outpost Alpha-1 to find it completely filled with troops, and it appears that a Commander is standing on the third floor with a microphone. Unable to fit up into the base, you stand on the ground outside. Apparently receiving the 'all here' signal, the Commander begins. (dying my hair took a little longer then expected...) =May I have your attention please,= (he waits for the audience to quiet). =As many of you are aware, we had an unscheduled visit by an unidentified individual during our investigation here yesterday. What you don't know is that we have reasoned that this must have been a Ground Thunder spy making an attempt to destroy or steal evidence.= =This has gone far enough! Ground Thunder needs to know that we will not complacently sit here and let them make their attacks . . . we will fight back!= At this, there is a murmur of ascent. =So, we have organized an attack against Ground Thunder, utilizing an entire battallion of our troops!= A cheer ripples through the crowd. =Your command officers have already been briefed. Report to them for instructions -- we'll show Ground Thunder that we can and WILL retaliate!= With this, the platoons begin breaking apart to meet with their leaders. You notice that werewolf and happy are missing. (YES) =Hmmm ...= (Have I got your attention yet?) I cheer along with everyone else. =Death to our enemies!= =Wait ... what if they spy if here? =This could be good= =We could be walking it to a trap!= The new Sergeant assigned to your platoon approaches and begins speaking. =All right, men!= =Our company has been designated as a medium company, which means we'll be making the first wave of the assault.= I go to my platoon. (somebody ping me, please) (are you guys there or do I just have really bad ping?) =We're going to run up to the front, slightly to the left. Then, we break off with one other platoon and try to break in through the left (west) entrance. -> [Adder] PING -> [Gambit] PING I stand at attention. -> [Smoky] PING = =So, can we get our weopons?= =That will be all. Your weapons are over there,= (he motions with his hand) =one Private is organizing them. Get them, and join the march of attack!= =Yes, sir!= Looks at the available weopns. whispers to Addar and Gambit=This time we stick togather= (please list weopons ...) =Okay...= Laughs You look at the enormous pile of weapons which constitutes the stockpile for the entire battallion, then realize that there is someone standing in front of it with a clipboard. (Battallion = 150 troops) *** Adder2 (softrazor@m6-205.spiritone.com) has joined #ss_rpg (I sense a technical problem . . .) (um, hi guys..) I go to him and ask what available weapons there is. (OK, I assume Adder2 is active and Adder is not?) *** Adder has quit IRC (The warrior spirit is not something everyone has. When you can lay down your life for another; only then can you truly call yourself a warrior.) (righto) *** Adder2 is now known as Adder =Well,= he says. =Pretty much anything you want. What platoon are you?= (Mirc is giving intolerableably bad pings) The 69th == =We' re in the 69th adamant.= =Ah, yes,= he says. =What would you like?= A CPS 3000 I step out. =Well, if possible sir, I'd like a 2500.= == =Okay ... hand me a 3000 with a 105 for a side-arm.= =And a few water baloons.= (think we're too 'heavy duty' here?) (do I still have my cloth) (no) (we're the front attackers... we need a little more speed.) He chuckles. =We got no water balloons designated for your platoon, and I'm afraid the only CPS weapons left is the one 3000 . . .= (my character is strong enough to run with a 2500, but I dont know about you guys) (yes, Smoky, you do) =In addition,= he continues, =We're only allowing people with much lighter weapons to carry multiple.= I nod. =Understood. Then, do you have perhaps a 150, 110, 105 or 95 in stock, sir?= I take the 3000 (Gambit asked first . . .) =I'll take any one of those weapons I mentioned.= (But I'll let you two duke it out) (make it good roleplaying :-) ) =Okay ... fine ... give me 2 105s ... =Sure, got `em all,= he says. =Which one ya want?= =But I get the 3000 next battle, Smoky.= =One of you can have my cloth so you can string multiple weapons esier.= =Assuming we have a next battle ...= =Can do= =Okay, I'll take the cloth.= =Well, that's not quite as small as I meant,= he responds. =How about a 110 and a 40?= (ping me now and see if it's improved, please.) Looks at rank of weopon's inspector. (heh) (am I a higher rank?) He seems to be a Private. (You're the lowest possible rank, Gambit) (it doesn't get much lower then private) I give gambit the cloth. =Common ... give me a break ... two 105s ... common buddy.= (is this another day? because if it is, I brought my camouflage gear along) (Sure, it is) (And I brought my binoculars) =Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't do that,= he says, =We barely got more than enough weapons for everyone as it is. 150 troops is a lot.= (ok... in case you're wondering I'm wearing normal woodland camouflage fatigues with a boonie hat. we could just say it gives me a -1 to all sneak rolls, or something) (Um . . . Adder's sort of got this personal interest in camouflage0 =I suppose ... k, a 105 and a 45 ...= (I decided he could have it occasionally) ( :-) ) =And how about some binaculars or something ...= =Um . . . . 45?= (don't overdue it with the equipment, though) =Parden, 40.= =Binoculars? This ain't no commando mission, you need to binoculars!= (I prearranged the camouflage stuff) =All right, 105 and 40, done!= I yawn. (Oh) (but binoculars sounds ok...) Gets 105 and 40. =Okay, SOME SORT of special gear ...= I step up again. =Is it my turn yet?= =This could be suicide and out last opportunity for a novelty ...= He stares at Gambit. =SUCH as?= (well, we've gotta attack sometime... so hurry it up ok?) =I dunno ... any ideas? What do you go?= =Please, its a waterfight . . . and suicides with an entire battallion?= (change go to got) =Fine ... Adder, your turn.= =Adamant can't AFFORD special equipment for an entire battallion!= I tap gambit on the shoulder. =Why don't you just get a canteen for extra water or something, and give the other people in line a turn?= I sigh impatiently He turns to Adder. =What'll `ya have?= =Ok, like I said before, I'd like anything between 95 and 150.= =And a sidearm might be nice, if you've got one to spare. I was one of the last 5 standing in the Attack on Alpha-1, so trust me, I won't misuse it...= =Oh, um, yeah . . .= (he flips few a couple of pages) =How does a 150 sound?= =Good for me, buddy.= =Done. Next . . .= I accept the 150 as soon as it comes to me. I shrug, and leave for the staging area. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * GROUND THUNDER OUTPOST * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * As your battallion nears the enemy outpost, the company commanded by Lt. Yunon breaks off. The rest of you continue toward the base. When you arrive, the two medium companies surge forward, side by side, followed by the two heavy . . . (Enter: ENORMOUS BATTLE!) =LET"S GET READY TO WHOOP SOME!!!!= I contiuously scan the area for any sign of anything unusual. The enemy base is constructed from large concrete bricks, with a large pillar in the front ahead of the entrance. Pumps both guns. There are then 3 ft walls extending around the perimenter, with a central entrance on each side. =DIE GT!= Within the base, there seems to be a taller wall just inside each entrance. Looks for cover before attacking. I look for any large rocks, any cover. Defenses well up around the south side of the base (which you are attacking). Or climbable trees, or high points. The base is surrounded on every side except west by forest, with various patches of bushes. Hides behind largest bush I can see. The terrain is level, and none of the trees appear to have branches within 10 feet of the ground. =Well boys... this is it.= (And need I remind you, your company and another are supposed to be CHARGING the base?) =Do or die.= (Relax, this time you outnumber them 3:1) =Remember, we're just the front line... even if we die, there's a good chance that we could win this battle. We've got TONS of backup, after all.= I go to the side which we are attacking from, but I stay far in the forest. =Go out there, take no prisinors. Let's rock this $&*@( place!= Smoky slinks off into the forest on the side, apparently unnoticed. =Well, ready to go?= The attackers surge forward, and fire erupts as you come out of the forest and onto the base. ("onto" is used metaphorically) I estimate distance to the closest attacker. Runs and starts firing. (be careful around trees... they offer great range, but are tough to escape from) Aims at defenders. The attackers seem to be in the base, mostly behind the near perimeter wall but some behind the pillar ahead of it. A few are on top of small walls within the base, about 9 ft high. (I mean deffender) Aim my weapon, and start to walk forward, scanning for good targets. You're about 25 ft away now. What's the range of my gun??? () The defenders seem to be taking potshots at the large force, then ducking behind the 3-foot wall, and then rising up again. No apparent organization. (CPS weapons supposedly go about 45 feet) (is the rest of my unit charging yet?) (Oh yeah! They're starting to pass you while you're walking!) (well, I tested my 2500 at 35) Leans up against wall and aims straight up. (BRB) Waits for someone to poke their head out. (Um, Gambit? That wall is three feet high, and you're about 8 times that far away from it.) I take 10 seconds to aim the closest deffender, taking three shots. (It doesn't reach your waist) (k ... sorry.) (Smoky, does that mean you're coming out of the woods?) Runs and jumps over wall. Fires like crazy. No (Let me reiterate . . . your assignment is to run along the left-hand wall and enter from the west.) (Smoky, your fire can't reach them from the woods.) (Sorry, that range was for the attack party) (However, the woods get much closer on the right side . . .) (I go just within my guns range) Runs along left hand wall ... towards the west. (this mission seems too structured ...) (forget what I just said) (Hey, you've got to be organized with 150 people) (still ...) Jumps over wall and starts firing at officers, not obeying the orders. The attack forces sweep up the sides of the base, 1/3 on each side and 1/3 trying to force their way in through the middle. The heavy companies begin runnign forward toward the base. (could I use the guns as 'bats' and hit the guys literally?) Gambit leaps over the wall, attracting immediately the attention of about 15 enemy soldiers within ten feet) I look for any cover within my guns range of the base. Fires all over the place, at no one in particular, trying to get a hit. (Um, you could, but that's liable to make them more angry than anything else and is a national crime (assault) not condoned by the Law Command . . .) Runs around to doge shots. (That last was about hitting them) (lol) Gambit runs through the base, firing wildly. In the confusion, all the shots directed at him somehow miss and strike more enemies down. (can I suggest you all start pinning guys down with all the confusion) (I'm waiting for an answer ) You look around. The only nearby cover is the woods, which curve much closer to the base on the right side and might be close enough to allow you to fire. (who does?) I run through the woods to the cover (Smoky) (Fastest possible) (k) You stumble quickly through the woods, distracting a few soldiers in the heavy companies which are now attacking. (pumping my gun the whole way) The heavy companies come up and attack, synchronized with the medium forces entering from both sides and Lt. Yunon's company runing down from the north. All the ground thunder troops begin firing with reckless abandon. I take 5 sec. aiming and start shotting at people, pumping when nessesary. Looks around for what would be base headquarters. (If I'm out of range, I go closer as nessesary.) Runs towards base headquarters, hoping to either disable command, stop them from communicating the situation, or both. (I'm back) From inside the base, you can see that it is mostly empty. A few small brick cubes hinder entry from the north, the walls on the east and west have steps leading up to them from the north so that you can defend from the top. (Where is my character right now?) There does not appear to be a base HQ. (You're entering from the west with another 15 or so troops. Looks around for a weak trooper to take as a prisoner. A quick count reveals that only about 10 enemies are remaining "alive". (Oh ok. Sorry I had to leave, my sister had to go on the net for an emergency.) I look around. I point. =There they are! Let's get em!= Most of these are firing madly but running out of pressure, limiting their range. I charge the enemies, and fire as soon as I come within range. (taking special care to DODGE) (about the prisoner ...?) The Adamant troops surge over the Ground Thunder troops, quickly winning the battle. (foget it! lets beat the crap out of our enemies!) Officers begin taking casualty totals. =YEAH!= (are you taking special care to IGNORE me?????????) I jump up in the air shouting. =Whoop!= (well we dont really need a prisinor if we beat them... besides it's probably against some rule in the L.C.) ( I gotta go soon guys) (No, its just that if you delay at the beginning . . . well, usually shots from 150 troops can cut down 50 pretty quickly) (yep :-) ) (Sorry, Smoky -- there'll be more battles this mission with fewer forces; the group splits up) (I'll try to be quicker) (let's have me stay back to guard some officers or something, because I have to go now) (HMMMM ... ABOUT THE PRISONER ...) The count reveals that 36 Adamant troops were "killed", mostly in the beginning assault. (k?) (ALL THE ENEMIES WERE "KILLED"!!! WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH A PRISONER ANYWAY?) (Actually, I (How long are they "KILLED" for?) (The day) (SWEET) (I'm thinking we should stop here; its after 6:00 and I don't have the other battlefields mapped yet) (interegate him ...) (well... work me out of the story however you can, I gotta go now) (Oh ok (This was pretty easy for us ...) (later guys) =====================Session Ends===================== ====================Session Begins==================== * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * OUTPOST ALPHA-1 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <_Happy_> (WHERE AM I) (Still the same prob.) Happy runs up to Alpha-1 to find the base completely dessolate. A quick search reveals a note forwarding you due North to a Ground Thunder base. (GIVE HIM A MINUTE!!!!!) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * GROUND THUNDER OUTPOST * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <_Happy_> (sorry) The casualty reports are tallied up from the just-ending battle and the officers (minus one Sergeant "killed" in the fighting) hold brief council and lay plans. Commander Tate retrieves a megaphone and begins speaking. =This was a quick and easy victory, but we're not through yet! They'll be sending reinforcements here any minute, so we're going to pack up and head out. Each platoon should redistribute their equipment to adjust for casualties. After that, Lt. Leva's company and my own will head for a Ground Thunder outpost in the northeast. Lt. Yunon and Lt. Grand will take their platoons west by southwest and attack another base. Lt. Hosten's company will split up into pairs and cause as much trouble as they can.= =Report to your platoon leader for further instructions,= he looks around. =Well, GET MOVING!= The congregation quickly tumbles in haste and you find yourself facing Sgt. Wrenx, who was given command of your platoon when Sgt. Warwick left. In the midst of the confusion, you notice that Happy has joined you as well. =I've spoken with Grand, he says we're splitting up into our platoons and heading for the base. When we -- or you -- get there, attack immediately; don't wait for me or anyone else, just attack. Anything we encounter along the way we'll have to deal with ourselves.= The just-captured base quickly empties and you find yourself racing with the rest of your platoon out of the forest and along a narrow footpath, minus Gambit, who says he'll be back shortly (he hopes). (When you're done reading, tell me . . .) <_Happy_> (IM DONE) (same) (BRB) <_Happy_> (no i dont have caps on) (Then tell me when you're back) (done) (I'm waiting for Smoky to get back . . .) <_Happy_> (I got a girl named Baliey) <_Happy_> (Shes pretty) (groovy) (back) TIME PASSES . . . * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * DIRT ROAD * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <_Happy_> (LOL) As you run along the path, passing light bushes on either side, you hear cries of =Kill the invaders!= and =Treachery means your death!= as a fair-sized group of Ground Thunder soldiers run onto the path. Your platoon quickly splits apart as people dive behind the bushes either to the left or right. <_Happy_> (Do I have a gun) I fire a quick shot at anyone within range and dive behind a bush to the left. (yeah, probably.) *** TAZ (lost@pool-153.wyn.ipa.net) has joined #SS_RPG *** TAZ (lost@pool-153.wyn.ipa.net) has left #SS_RPG (Incidentally, you got the 1000 that the Private in your platoon who was already "killed" had) <_Happy_> (WHAT) I dive into bush and go prone. <_Happy_> I fire a shot at an enemy and quickly start pumping I then aim at the closest attacker, 5second aim, two shots. Adder's fire parallels Happy's as both shots hit home, dropping two attackers. Adder quickly dives to his left and Happy begins re-pumping. <_Happy_> I run behind the closest tree and fire blindly a spray at the enemys (Trees? Who said anything about trees? You left the forest . . . .) <_Happy_> (I must run preety far! LOL) Smoky's shot erupts from the bushes, joined by several others, and two enemies fall. The enemy force begins advancing quickly and firing in short bursts toward the bushes. Three of them sprint toward Happy, the only one still in the road, firing madly. <_Happy_> I look water got in my glasses, there are no trees (Your character wears glasses?) <_Happy_> I run for my life <_Happy_> (YES) I continue doing the same. <_Happy_> As soon as i am behind any object i find i fire at the enemys Happy turns and sprints back down the dirt road as if giant mutant slugs were pursuing him, making amazing time. <_Happy_> (sorry bout spelling) (What do you define as an "object"?) =Hah, Ground thunder my @%*! You guys are terrible! Where'd you learn to dodge, a Nun?= I fire at another guy, and dodge if they fire at me. <_Happy_> (ANYTHING!) <_Happy_> i dodge back and forth hoping not to be hit (@$$ looks much better onsceen) (Like a bush? A pebble? A speck of dirt?) (yeah, well whatever works.) <_Happy_> (I DONT KNOW. whatevers avalible) (Just get behind a bush for goodness sake!) (He said there are plenty of bushes here, get behind a bush) (You know there WERE bushes right next to where you were attacked . . .) <_Happy_> i get behind a bush waiting to be punched by adder for stupidity <_Happy_> (LOL) <_Happy_> I fire (Working . . .) <_Happy_> (Am i gonna run out of water or what!) i continue firing as I was before You all join with the rest of your team in a big burst of fire, but all of it goes wide as the Ground Thunder troops begin dancing around mildly. One of them gets lucky and hits a friendly Private who was carrying a CPS 2500. ***ADDER'S AIM SKILL INCREASES!*** <_Happy_> (OWWWW) (Good jub addar) (YES!) (Hey, he still missed the shot) (WOHOOOO!) (i ment job) (Now, where were we . . .) I run and grab the 2500! Then get back behind the cover of a bush. (Dropping your 150, or keeping it?) <_Happy_> I bravley sprint out in the middle of enemy fire pick up the CPS2500 and shoot a few qiuck squirts at enemys <_Happy_> (DAMN too late (I'm still here!!!!!!!) <_Happy_> (OPS) (Yeah, I know, I'm going as fast as I can) <_Happy_> (OOPS) (ha ha, ha ha!) Adder rushes out and grabs the 2500, managing to duck back behind cover before any return fire can reach him. Smoky fires again, hitting an opponent with a CPS 1000. <_Happy_> (WHAT other dead enemy weapons are there?) (You can't steal enemy weapons, regardless of their owners' status) <_Happy_> I get the new 100 <_Happy_> 1000 I continue again and again. (Besides, there's about 10 enemies surrounding it) (you're never gonna get it!) I toss my 110 back towards the friendlies and use my 2500 to fire again. <_Happy_> I shoot a wave of water around me, then drop the gun and run for my life (You're doing WHAT, Happy?) (You're in the bushes with your TEAMMATES) <_Happy_> (nevermind) <_Happy_> I get the 110 Smoky and Adder manage to gun down another two enemies, but return fire quickly heads towards all three of you. Happy grabs the 110 and adds it to his arsenal of: a CPS 1000. <_Happy_> I fire a few shots at one guy (Of course, it was actually a 150, not a 110 . . . ) I roll to one side. <_Happy_> (i droped the 1000) (Oh . . . you are ambidextrous, you know) (really, you dont need a new gun! the 1000 is perfectly ok. what's the point of getting a good gun if you're always switching and never using it) (well, ok) Smoky rolls over and easily avoids the enemy fire. <_Happy_> I turn and fire two shots at two enemys and pump wildly (Adder, Happy . . . there's still jets of water heading for you . . .) I continue firing. <_Happy_> I dodge I dodge (duh. whenever water comes towards me, I dodge. think of it that way :-) ) <_Happy_> I regain my 1000 and thanks to ambidexterous fire both guns simentaneusly Adder and Happy easily dodge the ill-aimed shots. Smoky guns down another enemy in unison with a teammate, but another dying enemy guns down a friendly Private wielding a 110. <_Happy_> AT the center enemy Happy fires both weapons in tandem, missing with both. <_Happy_> i keep firing Happy quickly fires again, managing to hit one enemy. I laugh. =Haha! You must have learned to AIM from a nun as well, pathetic ground thunder!= =Ground slumber is more like it.= I fire another shot. Your Sergeant guns down another foe. <_Happy_> i sit down take a 10 second aim and fire a stream at the closest enemy Return fire heads straight for you as Adder fires a missing shot. (All 3 of you . . .) I dodge. I roll. <_Happy_> I put down my guns and start furiously pumping bot <_Happy_> I DODGE I start to withdraw while firing, to try to use my weapon's range advantage. <_Happy_> I recover my guns and start firing then duck behind a bush to pump Smoky's rolls over as the water slices OVER where he was a second ago, and Adder and Happy dexteriously dodge the fire. (we be good) <_Happy_> (GROOVY) (OOOOHHHHH YYYYAAAAAAHHHHH ) <_Happy_> I throw my 1000 back and run around an enemy firing in on him <_Happy_> i reatreat to the bush Adder guns down an enemy using a 40's light weight to run up to him as he backs up, and Smoky guns down an opponent with a 70. Happy's shots both go wide. The one remaining GT officer, wielding a 2000, turns tail and runs. I run after him, full speed. The remaining GT recruit quickly follows him away. I burn after him, pumping all the way. =Let's get these Ground Slumbers!= <_Happy_> I sprint after hthem firing in all over them <_Happy_> =DIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE= Smoky springs up off the group and follows Adder in pursuit, followed by Happy, but you quickly lose ground to the extremely quick opponents. <_Happy_> =that was FUN= Adder and Happy manage to dodge Happy's poorly-distanced fire. (huh?) =Let's regroup with the rest of our group= <_Happy_> (you screwed up) (He was trying to shoot them while chasing them) (oh ok) The threat dealt with, you move quickly on. When you get to a bridge along the path, you turn to your left and follow the river's bank south. I stop. =They're gone, guys.= TIME PASSES . . . * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * GROUND THUNDER OUTPOST * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * You arrive at your intended target, and find the battle already raging. This base appears much more recent and more hastily constructed than the other, built of cardboard boxes rather than concrete. A wide gap in the defensive wall on the North side makes it apparent that they were totally unready for an attack on this side. A structure in the center, layered like a pyramid, supports one Ground Thunder officer firing a CPS 3000. There appears to be about 40 already on each side. <_Happy_> =what do we do= I take up a position just within range, behind cover. I charge into battle, as ordered! A quick glance at the surrounding area shows that the only conceivable "cover" would be the walls of the fort and the bank of the river. <_Happy_> I run to a place next to smoky <_Happy_> (to smoky)=what do we do= Adder charges forward into the battle, meeting only sparse, poorly-aimed shots in his direction. =follow= I run to the bank as fast as possible. I fire shots at anyone within my range, very short bursts. I dodge any shots coming at me. <_Happy_> =For the ADAMANT= I run towards the enemys firing at one, then the next in reapeat infinity Smoky dashes laterally to the base and carefully climbs onto the steep slope which leads down to the water. There is no base wall up against the bank. My main focus is charging through the hole in the north wall and trying to get the officer in the pyramid. (Actually, atop the pyramid, not IN it) <_Happy_> I run to adder=Im with you pal= I smile. =Thanks man, let's get these guys!= (right.) I take the prone and Fire at closest attaker, 5sec aim, two stots. Adder quickly guns down a fast-moving counter-attacker with a 70. One of Happy's shots goes wide, but the other strikes a nearby opponent. <_Happy_> i run towards the hole dodging all fire and work my way into the fort ditto <_Happy_> (tell me when im in) <_Happy_> I fire at any close enemys Smoky carefully goes prone on the slope and fires up at one of the few visible opponents, just managing to hit. I cover them (we're hot today, really hot!) <_Happy_> I fire 3sec aim, 3 shots <_Happy_> at closest opponent <_Happy_> i fire again 2 shots no aim at the nearest enemy/s/ Firing quickly, Adder shoots down antoher 2 opponents and Happy another 3 on their way up to the enormous gap in the base's defense, easily dodging return fire. Smoky fires another two shots, but misses as he squirms his way out of the way of a returned shot. Happy and Adder are now even with the base's walls. I continue firing with 7sec. aim. <_Happy_> =lets knock that jerk of his seat!= i say to adder A group of four opponents, each bearing an old 300, are now visible, firecely defending the entryway. I aim at the guy on the pyrimid. I narrow my sights. =Easy pickings.= (A 300 has more power than most XP weapons, but takes forever to pump) <_Happy_> i try to enter the base firing quick shots at all opposition I stay out of their range, and fire a single shot at each one, 2 sec aim. <_Happy_> I aim at the guy on the pyrimid for 5 sec. then shoot 5 shots over 2 sec spaces <_Happy_> i shoot 3 shots at the enemys then dodge fire Smoky, showing incredible skill and luck, guns down the officer atop the pyramid. Adder and Happy quickly gun down the four enemies with 300s, both hitting each one once. I charge into the base and try to get to the top of the pyramid. The enemies try to circle around behind Adder and Happy, but a fierce follow-up attack from the rest of the Adamant force ends their plans. <_Happy_> I sprint to the nearest guy and shoot him in the head 2 times I continue shooting, sniping off anyone Ican (does adamant have colors? Like on their banner or something?) (You don't have a banner with you, but there are colors to distinguish between the two different armies in battles) <_Happy_> I follow adder to the top (Adamant and GT wear differently-colored war caps ;) ) (oh ok.) When I get to the top, I wave my cap in the air and yell =Adamant Triumphs!= (I am wearing a cap, right? <_Happy_> I shoot down at any enemys You sprint inside the base, encountering little resistance, and quickly mount the pyramid. It's about a meter and a half high. Adder's shout quickly attracts the attention of most of the opposition. <_Happy_> =great add= (uh oh...) I laugh uneasily to myself. =Let those Ground Slumbers come!= I take out as many people as I can. <_Happy_> I fire 5 times at the new threat using sniping skills I fire at anyone coming near me. I snipe off as many people as I can with 7 sec. aim <_Happy_> =ill gaurd your back adder= Happy's first two shots easily find their way to victims as Adamant presses its advantage. Smoky's shots go wide as the opponents exit his limited field of vision. =Thanks.= <_Happy_> I focus on an enemys head and snipe him 2wice <_Happy_> i turn to the next enemy and do the same <_Happy_> i shout=GET IN HERE SMOKY= <_Happy_> =WE NEED BACKUP= I run closer and snipe off people. Adder fires two shots, easily nailing two opponents. Happy fires each weapon twice, managing to hit two more enemies. Adamant presses its advantage and suffers no casualties in the next volley as they blast the GT troops. =Her's all the backup you need.= Smoky misses another two shots as Adder and Happy gun down three more victims. <_Happy_> i asume my sniping position and snipe the closest three people wiht VERY careful aim I start to act very proffessionally, looking for something important to do. <_Happy_> i dodge any fire coming my way (HOW can I miss, I have sweet aim and snipe?????) (I have better aim ;-) ) <_Happy_> (Im trying to high my SNIPE skill) Adamant troops press in from the north, quickly reacquiring the attention of their foes as they obliterate several more enemies (Um, I, er, forgot about your natural aptitude. I'll give you an extra SP to make it up to you . . .) I run closer and snipe off people. (distraction warfare works again. There can't be many more enemies left :-) ) <_Happy_> i aim for an enemy officer and fire a couple shots his way (??????????????) Smoky hits another enemy and Happy prepares to snipe an officer down, but quickly finds that the remaining 2 officers (the last enemies) have already been gunned down by your team. <_Happy_> I use my sniping skills and fire on a nenemys head using 5sec aim 3shots (I just said that they were all dead . . . fire anyway?)] <_Happy_> =we win= <_Happy_> (i dont pay attension) (To what?) (BRB) <_Happy_> (i take a long time to tripe) <_Happy_> (type) =Heh. Ground slumber.= <_Happy_> (so i look at the keyboard) Lieutenants Grand and Yunon quickly step in and officially "confiscate" the enemy ammunition (water) and begin setting up stations to refill weapons so the outpost can be defended. (Meaning, in short, cancel your shot?) <_Happy_> (I guess) (Done) =====================Session Ends===================== ====================Mission 6 Ends====================
