Gina looked around nervously. "Why did you have to pick me?"
"Come on, Gina. Truth or dare?"
"I guess I’ll pick truth. That way you can’t make me do anything embarrassing."
"Don’t be so sure." Justin gave her a menacing smile. "Now you’re question is. What was your first kiss like?"
Gina looked relieved. "That’s not as bad as I thought."
"Just you wait, Gigi."
Even though Justin’s tone scared her Gina started her story.
"Well, his name is Gary and it was in fifth grade. He was my lab partner for dissections in science."
"Oh, I can just see it now. Gina and Gary making goo goo eyes over a dead frog."
"Thank you for your addition to the story, Chris. Now, as I was saying, he was my dissection partner. Our parents decided that it would be a good idea if we did our out of class lab sheets together. Well one day I was over his house and his mom had to go run an errand."
"Alone at his house. The sly dog," Joey teased.
"Oh, please," JC moaned as he rolled his eyes.
"Can I get back to the story? Good. Well we were at his house sneaking looks at each other and I couldn’t take it any longer."
Justin held his hand up. "Wait a minute. You made the first move?"
Gina shook her head. "Yeah. You got a problem with that?"
"Nope. I like a woman who goes for what she wants."
"Can I please finish without any interruptions? Okay, I was tired of all the looks we were giving each other and scooted next to him on the couch. He was visibly nervous, as was I, as I took his paper from in front of him. When he turned to me I leaned in and gave him a short kiss."
"A short kiss? I don’t know if that qualifies. Does it guys?" JC looked around the area.
"Oops. Did I forget to mention how two seconds after the first one ended Gary decided that it was too short and kissed me. And this was no short little kiss. Now does that satisfy you?"
Justin gave a short nod. "I think that about does it. Now it’s your turn."
Gina carefully searched the group for her victim. "Let’s see. Justin? Nah, you’re going to get it later. JC? Nope. Too easy. Ahhh. Perfect," Gina said as her eyes came to Tyler. "Tyler, truth or dare?"
"Um…since I know the truth is going to be about Lisa I’m going to take dare."
"Well the dare is going to involve her too."
Tyler groaned. "What do I have to do?"
Gina smiled widely and picked up his phone. "You have to call her at home and when she picks up you have to speak nonsense that she can’t make out. Make up words, sounds, you name it."
Knowing there was no way of getting out of the dare Tyler picked up the phone and dialed Lisa’s private line. As he was dialing Joey took notice of the speed he dialed.
"Would you look at that. He’s got it memorized by now. How many times have you dialed that number in the past twenty four hours?"
Tyler slightly blushed and waved for everyone to be quiet. He took a deep breath after Lisa answered.
"Snitzel bahhneyu verseq geuhnjue." Tyler continued until Gina gave him a signal to stop. At her signal he hung up. "There I did it. Now it’s my turn. JC, truth or dare?"
JC fiddled in his seat, knowing the wrath of his brother’s dares. "Truth?"
"Okay, JC, tell us what-" He was cut off by his cell phone. "Hello?" His face fell at the voice at the other end of the line. "Hi, Lisa. No, I didn’t just call you. You *69ed me? Hold on a minute." Tyler covered the mouthpiece. "Listen, I’ve got to take this call. Lance take over for me on giving JC a truth." He stood up and took his call in the other room.
The others waited until they all stopped laughing to continue. Lance smiled evilly.
"I do believe your brother told me to finish giving you a truth, JC."
"Can’t we just continue and start with me? Why does he have the power to pass off his turn?"
"Because he passed it off before he left," Gina explained. "If he hadn’t passed it off we might forgive you but he did. What? Scared to let any secrets out? Come on, JC, don’t be a chicken like you are with needles."
"I do seem to remember you saying something to the effect that you would never get a tattoo."
Gina uncrossed and recrossed her legs. "That’s right, I never want to get a tattoo but I’m not completely afraid of needles. I do remember seeing something about you running from an ear thermometer. Now that’s pathetic."
"Enough, you two." Lance held his hands up. "Let’s just get on with the game. We’re supposed to have fun tonight and I don’t want you two to ruin it. Now onto this piece of truth JC has to tell us." Lance stole a glance at Justin who smiled. "JC, how do you really feel about your on-line sweetie?"
JC sighed and was quiet a moment before answering. "How do I feel about se- her?"
Lance nodded.
Gina smirked and mumbled to herself, "This ought to be good."
"I feel like she’s the only one I can talk to and get a real honest answer from. Even if I don’t want it. She warned me about Heidi right away and I ignored her. By now I should have learned not to do that. Before you guys get insulted in any way I meant she’ll give me an open answer because she doesn’t know everything about me and because it’s a female perspective. Unless any of you guys are hiding it from me you’re all males." JC grinned.
"Actually, JC, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you…," Chris began.
JC threw a pillow at him and continued. "She knows how to make me laugh when I’m down and think about things in a perspective I’ve never known. I feel so close to her. Sometimes I wonder what her voice sounds like. I’m not hooked on the looks."
"So you wonder what she sounds like?"
JC nodded. "Yeah. What her voice sounds like and if the sound of her laughter is as beautiful as my mind makes it. At times I'm jealous of my little bro." JC looked towards where his brother was still on the phone.
Justin nudged JC’s arm with his own. "Why? Because he got to meet the girl he fell for on-line? He got to hear her voice, her laugh?"
JC nodded solemnly. "Yeah. I don’t have to meet her. Who knows how she’d react, but I’d just love to hear her voice. I wonder what is sounds like."
"What if she sounded like me? What would you do?" Gina spoke up.
JC glared at her. "I’m positive she doesn’t sound like you."
"But how do you know? You’ve never heard it before?"
"Like Lance said this is supposed to be a fun night and you keep ruining it for me." JC turned to the rest. "I do believe it’s my turn." He turned back and stared into Gina’s eyes. "Truth or dare?"
Feeling the weight of his stare Gina knew what she must say. "Dare," she answered flatly.
Knowing this would be her answer he had already picked out her dare. "I dare you to give, who should I pick, Justin a special dance to this song." He got up and placed a cd in the radio. "Good thing about being on the MMC, you get a copy of everyone’s record."
Gina furrowed her brow in confusion until the first few lines of the song were played and recognized it as Christina Aguillera. She helped Justin onto the couch as she danced and glanced at JC before her favorite lines of "Genie in a Bottle" came blaring out of the speakers. Gina sat on Justin’s lap during the first line.
My heart’s saying no.
During the second line she pushed Justin to the side and got off his lap.
Good. They’re laughing. They have no clue as to what’s next. Gina thought to herself as the song neared the end. She laid on the couch, her head in Justin’s lap and made up her own version of the song.
"If you want to be with me, baby, there’s a price to pay. I’m a Gina in a bottle. You’ve got to rub me the right way… I’m a Gina in a bottle. Come, come, come on and let me out." Gina smiled at her laughing crowd.
"Bravo." JC clapped sarcastically at Gina’s performance.
Gina sat up abruptly. "What makes you think I actually care what you think, Mr. Chasez? Well, I don’t. Lets get onto the game. Chris, truth or dare?"
Chris looked between Gina and JC. If Justin is going to get them together I hope it’s soon. At least before they kill each other. Or us
"Dare."
~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~
"So you called me on a dare? Don’t I feel so special now."
Tyler sat against the back of a couch. "Now don’t try any of those guilt games on me because it’s not going to work. I’ve called you enough that you know that’s not the only reason why I’d call you."
"It’s not working, huh? Listen to yourself, Tyler. I think it’s worked perfectly," Lisa teased. Lisa could almost hear him squirm over the phone. "What were you doing playing truth or dare anyway?"
TJ got up and made sure the door was closed and nobody could hear him. When he heard JC and Gina’s voices he knew it was safe.
"Well, it was Justin’s idea. Earlier today he and Lance came around saying to go along with whatever Justin said because something big was going to happen between JC and Gina. So far all I’ve heard from those two is yelling. I have no clue what they think they’re going to accomplish. I just wish we could get on from this constant bickering. I’m so tired of it. I’ve never seen my brother like this."
"Like what?"
"I’ve never seen his temper so fast. I’ve never seen him fight someone this hard and this long. And I’ve never seen him this…"
"This what?" Lisa asked quietly.
Tyler sighed. "This much in love. I at least believe it’s love. He’s never acted like this towards any of his past girlfriends. Never looked at them like he does Gina. There is something extremely special there. If it’s not love now it’s getting there."
"I know what you mean. I’ve never seen Gina like this before. Of course I’ve only known her since we were thrown together freshman year as roomies but Kristen, who grew up with Gina, has said almost the exact same thing you just said. Except talking about Gina. I wish one of them could say three words and this would all be over with."
"But first we have to get them to say those three words. That’s the problem."
Lisa sighed. "I know."
~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~
"Oh my. I could make a lot of money off of what I just heard. Who would ever think sweet Lance Bass could be capable of such mischief?" Gina got out between laughs.
Lance raised his eyebrows. "So you think my truth was funny?"
Gina shook her head, still laughing.
Lance stood up. "Well, according to an old Slovenian proverb, speak the truth but leave immediately after. Ta-ta." He left the area and climbed in his bunk. He remembered something and stuck his head back out. "Oh, I’m passing my turn over to Justin. Make good use of it, J."
Justin grinned and rubbed his hands together evilly.
"Uh-oh. What you planning, youngin.?"
"Oh, nothing. Gina, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Oh, come on. Why can’t you say dare?"
"I said dare earlier," Gina defended herself.
Justin pointed to JC. "But that was to JC and didn’t mean anything."
"You want the truth? I don’t trust you with a dare."
"Please, Gina. Please?"
"I know I’m not going to like this but go ahead. I pick dare."
"Goodie. I dare you to play twenty questions and answer them all truthfully."
Gina’s chin dropped in shock. "That’s like twenty truths," she exclaimed.
"So it is but you have to accept it. You took the dare."
"I know. It could be worse. What do you want to know?"
"Hmm. Let me think. Question one is…What is your full first name?"
"What is my full first name? Justin, you know that."
"I know but are you complaining about the depths of my truth?"
"I guess not." Gina sighed. "My full first name is Angelina."
"Favorite color?"
"Yellow."
"Favorite song of ours?"
"For the Girl."
"Favorite food?"
"Chinese food. Speaking of food, when are we going to eat?"
"Soon," Justin answered. "Favorite ice cream?"
"Chocolate chip mint."
"Favorite book?"
"Little Women."
"Favorite movie?"
"Well, I have two. Dirty Dancing and The Wizard of Oz."
Upon her saying The Wizard of Oz Chris, Joey and Justin broke into their own rendition of "We’re Off to See the Wizard." Gina started laughing uncontrollably but calmed down when the questioning resumed and she needed to think.
"Favorite cities we’ve visited?"
"Chicago and New York."
"Why?"
"Chicago because I got to see Kristen and Lisa and," Gina grinned evilly, "New York because that’s where Heidi dumped JC on his sorry butt."
"How many times do I have to tell you? I was the one who did the dumping. I’m the one who ended it. She tried to be the one but I stopped her. I was the only one with a reason so that’s how it goes." JC’s face gradually changed into a deeper shade of red as he continued to yell.
"Until I believe it, JC. If you did the dumping why did she kiss Dean as they left? She didn’t seem as devastated as I thought one would after being dumped by the one and only JC Chasez." Gina batted her lashes innocently.
"Why am I even putting up with this? I’m leaving." JC got up to leave but was stopped by Justin’s body.
"Sit," Justin ordered with a stern look.
JC tried to get past his friend. "Why won’t you just let me go to my bunk or to the back room? I can’t stand another minute here."
Justin moved to prevent JC’s attempts past him. "I promise the game is almost over. Just stay intil the end. Then you can go where ever you want."
"Promise?"
Justin looked JC in the eyes and held up his littlest finger. "Pinkie swear."
JC sighed and turned around. "All right. I’ll stay but if it lasts too long I’m leaving no matter what you say."
"Just sit and listen to Gina’s answers. You might be surprised at what you may learn."
JC rolled his eyes as he sat back down. "Yeah right."
Justin sat down and focused back in Gina. "Now where was I?"
"You were about to ask me my eleventh question."
"Eleven? I only counted nine there, Gina," Steve disputed.
"Let us count them. He asked me my full name, was I complaining about the depths of his questions, my fav-"
"Hold up. That second one wasn’t a question."
"Then what was it? If it was written it would have required a question mark and I did have to answer it. Therefor I believe it was a question asked by Justin and should count."
JC suppressed a laugh. "I do believe she’s got you there, Steve."
Chris pretended to faint. "Did I hear what I think I did? Did JC just completely agree with Gina?"
"Oh, come off it, Chris. Not only do I believe she’s right I also want this stupid game to be over. The higher the number of questions already asked the less left to ask. Now can we please get on with this?"
"Yes, please lets continue. What’s your next question, J?" Gina turned to Justin.
"Next question? Let me see. What was your favorite moment of your stay with us? And please don’t say anything regarding JC and Heidi. I want a real answer now. Not just something you’re going to say to get JC upset."
"Do you really think I would answer untruthfully just because it would get JC upset?" One look at Justin’s expression told her he thought she would. "Okay. My favorite moment? I think that would be JC’s party. Well before he went off in a huff."
"Gina," Justin warned.
"Okay, okay, let me explain. Before that incident I was having fun with my two closest friends in the world. Well except when Lisa was with Tyler and Kristen was flirting with Justin. It was like my two worlds collided and everything worked out. No mass hysteria. I got to be with the people who mean the most to me. Well, except my brother, but everyone else I care about was there."
Justin’s expression softened. "How about your parents?"
"You know the story there, Justin. Do I really have to get into it?" Gina took a deep breath and wiped at the corners of her eyes.
"Just answer this one question. Do you love your parents?"
Gina sighed and looked at her hands. "Of course I do. They raised me. I might disagree with their points of views but I live them. Right now they’re so mad at me I’m just lucky that they’re still paying for my senior year. So there you have it. Yes, I love my parents but I wouldn’t have wanted them there at the party. I don’t know if I could handle it." She took a few deep breaths and gave small smiles to Joey and Steve who had each grabbed one of her hands.
"You know, Justin, I think that deserves to count as two questions."
Justin nodded. "I agree, Chris. That does. Now I’ll let this one count for more than one also. What are you going to miss the most when you leave us?"
"Let me think about that for a minute. What would I miss about being trapped on a bus with seven messy, sweaty guys? Is that a trick question?"
"Guys, will you hold her down for me?"
Before Gina could ask what he meant she felt Joey and Steve tighten their grip on her and Justin kneel before her to tickle her.
"Oh geez. Stop, Justin. Please. What did I do to deserve this?"
"I think you know." Justin continued his attack as she squirmed. "What would you do to make I stop?"
"I would," Gina paused due to laughter. "I will forget about that little sneaking out incident I know about in L.A. Don’t think I don’t know about that, J. Oh, by the way, that equals another question."
Justin retreated immediately and ignored his friends’ questions. "All right. Back to the original question. What are you going to miss most about being with us?"
"I think I’ll miss the feeling of having a brother no matter where I turn. I know I have a brother of my own but here I felt as if I had six. Some older, some younger, but the feeling of family I have when I’m with you. That’s what I’m going to miss."
Joey scratched his head. "But there are seven of us?"
"I think I know who she left out," JC answered for Gina.
"Who?"
"Me. She left me out. I wouldn’t miss her either so we’re even." JC felt a sinking feeling in his stomach as he said this. Man, I’m hungrier than I thought. My stomach is grumbling.
Gina looked around the room. "When are we going to eat? My stomach is telling me it needs food."
"Soon. Now I’ll count that as a two pointer as well. I’m sure you and JC are glad to hear that. Okay. I guess we’re on number seventeen. Now, how do you really feel about JC?"
"How do I really feel about JC? Are you sure you want to hear this answer?"
Justin nodded.
"Well I don’t. I’m out of here."
"JC, sit." Justin’s voice left no room for exception. "Now go on, Gina."
"Well, to tell you the truth, he’s the most self-centered, egotistical, heartless person I’ve ever come across. He’s the one person I’ve met on this trip I wouldn’t mind not seeing again. He gets pleasure out of seeing me mad as hell. He’s been nothing but moody this whole trip and I just can’t deal with it. Just get over the twit you went out with and move on with your life. There’s not many people I can say that you are above but she’s one of them. I was almost feeling sorry for you there, JC. Almost being the key word."
"Why did you make me stay, Justin? Just to hear those loving words come out of the ice princess’ mouth? What a friend you are." JC crossed his arms and leaned against the window.
"Don’t worry, JC. It gets better."
JC raised an eyebrow at his younger friend. "And how is that going to happen?"
Justin smiled briefly. "Just wait and see."
"I don’t know if I like the sound of that, youngin’."
"Do you trust me, Gina?"
Gina shook her head. "Not on this. I’m just getting a weird feeling about this."
"Oh well. You have to just stick it out. Question number eighteen."
"Nineteen. You just asked me if I trusted you."
"You’re not giving me any slack here. Question nineteen. Since earlier JC had to talk about his on-line love interest now it’s you turn. What do you like about him that you spend so much time on the computer with him and not with us?"
"Hmm, let me think. Ever since I’ve been talking to him I’ve felt like I’ve always had someone on my side. He’ll sit and listen, or read as the case may be, to my rambling on about anything. My parents, school, my dates, anything. I can go to him for sympathy or to brighten my spirits. And I don’t mind sitting there and have him tell me his problems. I want to help him. I feel like he’s there for me and it’s so easy talking to him. Like JC said before hearing him laugh has crossed my mind. Just to hear a clip of his voice to match the words. Sometimes I just wonder what his voice sounds like. When you’re talking to someone on-line you picture their voice in your head. I just want to see if his voice is anything like I picture it to be."
"Since you asked me this I see it only fair I do the same to you," JC spoke up. "What if he sounds like me?" JC began to laugh.
"I hope to the highest power there is that he doesn’t sound like you," Gina snorted. "But I don’t think you and sleepygoof would sound anything alike."
JC’s laughter died immediately. "What did you say? Did you just say ‘sleepygoof’?"
"Yeah. So?"
"But, but , but…" JC stuttered.
"And for your last question, which I’m sure is on JC’s mind. What is your screen name? I’m talking about the one you’ve always had. Not gigisucks."
Gina looked at JC then Justin. "Another answer you already know but I’ll answer it. My screen name is senorita78."
Buy this time JC’s mouth was hanging open with no sounds coming out. "No, it can’t be. You are not senorita78. That is not your screen name."
"Yes, it is. Why don’t you believe me?" Gina asked in confusion.
JC looked around the at his friends. He could not look at Gina because he was afraid he would stare. I can’t be here any more. I need to think." Before anyone could stop him he flew to the back area of the bus.
Gina was still utterly confused. "Justin, what just happened here? Justin? Don’t make me do this," she continued with a sigh after he did not answer her. "If I must. Justin, truth or dare?"
"Umm, I think I’m going to chose dare here."
She looked him straight in the eyes. Her hazel one’s staring down his blues. "Then I dare you to tell me the truth. What just happened here? Why did JC run from the room?"
"That was two questions," Justin answered weakly.
"I don’t care how many questions that was. Just tell me what I want to know, Justin. How hard is that? I want one cup of truth. Hold the sugar."
"Well," Justin looked down but could still feel her eyes boring into his head, "he’s so upset because…"
"Because why, Justin?"
He brought his head back up and met her stare. "Because he’s sleepygoof. He’s," Justin pointed to the door past the bunks, "the one you just said you needed in your life. He ran away because he wants to hide from the truth, again. You two are so used to hiding it’s becoming second nature. He’s in there because he just realized the two most important females in his life, sans family, are the same people. Even though I’d doubt he’d admit it. You two can never admit your feelings."
Gina’s mouth dropped as she digested this information. JC’s sleepygoof? It can’t be. Oh my. Sleepygoof has a brother and a sister. And a co-worker he’s constantly fighting with. How did this happen?
Without giving, or needing, an explanation Gina ran to the back of the bus.
~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~
"I really should get going, Lisa. I’ll e-mail you tonight if we don’t get to talk."
"Okay. I should go also. I have to start getting things together for school. It’s a pain packing everything up and moving it from Cleveland to Amherst."
Tyler sat up. "I bet it is. Well I’m going to see if truth or dare is over. We should be eating soon so I hope so. Maybe I can still be there to see what Justin has in mind for Gina and JC. I wonder wha-" Tyler was interrupted by the door flinging open then being slammed shut. "Josh? What’s wrong?"
JC paced around the small room muttering to himself.
"Hold on a second, Lisa." He put his hand on his brother’s shoulder. "Josh, what’s wrong?"
"Senorita78," he said flatly.
"What about senorita78? It’s too early to have talked to her."
JC glared at the door. "I just found out who she is."
"Who is she, JC?" He waited for an answer and when he did not receive one he went back to the phone. "Sorry about that, Li. JC just walked in and is acting very strange."
"Tyler, did you just say senorita78?"
"Yeah. That’s the name of the girl JC’s been talking to on the computer."
"TJ, if I’m correct I know who senorita78 is."
Tyler stared at the phone for a moment. "How could you know that?"
"Well," Lisa sighed, "senorita78 is-"
The door flung open again distracting Tyler.
"Gina?"
JC looked up at the female at the door, speechless.
"JC, if what I just heard is true we need to talk."
"What is there to talk about? We’ve been talking to each other on-line and finally figured it out."
Tyler turned his back so he could hear Lisa. "Umm, I think I’d better go. It seems like we’re not the only one’s who have been talking on the computer from across the table."
"This is weird. Twice on one tour bus. Hopefully we’ll get to talk later on-line so you can fill me in on what really happened. I know Gina’s is going to be biased."
"All right. Talk to you later."
"Bye, Tyler."
"Bye, Lisa." Tyler hung up the phone and watched the two people fight in awe.
"I thought maybe we could have a conversation but I guess I was wrong. I guess it’s true what they say. People are never their true selves on-line and you have to be careful. I let myself get close to someone and look what happened. It was you."
"And how am I supposed to feel? I got close to someone and it was you. I’m just as thrilled with that info as you are on yours. Don’t forget this goes two ways."
"Did you just say it goes two ways? Are you actually thinking about someone other than yourself or just making sure I’m thinking about you too?"
Justin turned Gina around. "Truth or dare?"
"What? Truth or dare?"
"Yeah. Which is it?"
JC put up his hand. "Wait a second. Didn’t you just have a turn?"
"She just gave it back to me when you ran in here. So which is it? Truth or dare, Gina?"
She looked between JC and Justin a few times and sighed. "Since the truth is what got me into this mess I’m going to pick dare."
"I dare you to kiss JC for, umm, thirty seconds."
"What? Youngin’, you’re pushing it."
"Fourty-five."
"Justin, it’s her dare. Why do I have to go along with it?"
"Because I’m daring her to kiss you. One minute."
"But-"
"One fifteen."
"Bounce-"
"One and a half and you know I’ll keep going."
Gina sighed. "I know. Let’s just get this over with. Come on, JC, just let me do this dare. As soon as the minute and a half is up we can go our separate ways."
"Make that two minutes for the objections you want to make. I’m not saying it has to go past lips touching, JC. If you don’t have any feelings towards her then it should be fine."
JC threw his hands up in defeat. "Whatever. Let’s just get this over with."
JC leaned down as Gina approached him and touched his lips to hers and they both began counting.
one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi, four Mississippi, five Mississippi, six Mississippi, seven Mississippi, eight Mississippi, nine Mississippi, ten Mississippi…
As they were counting in their heads they drowned everything else. They could not hear the conversations going on, or the sound of a video camera filming.
Chris looked at his watch. "It’s been thirty seconds, Justin, and nothing’s happening. They’re standing there like two mannequins with their lips pressed together."
"Come on, it’ll work. It has to."
Joey, who was half listening to the conversation, elbowed Chris. "Shut up, you two. You’re missing the show."
Chris turned to face Joey. "What show?"
Lance stuck his head between Justin and Chris and jutted his chin towards the couple. "That show."
The six men turned to watch JC and Gina and see what Joey had seen happening through the lens of the camera.
JC and Gina’s lips had started to soften and mold to the other’s. As their lips got looser Gina raised her hands to lay on JC’s chest. JC stepped in and cupped both cheeks in his hands. They stood like that as the kiss, and hidden emotions, continued to deepen. Trying to count was by now forgotten.
"So it looks like you’re plan is working," Lance whispered to Justin.
Justin smiled triumphantly. "Yeah, it does. I hope this ends the fighting."
"Me too. Should we tell them the two minutes are up?"
"I don’t have to heart to break this up. Do you?"
"Nope. You wanna let them stay like this for a few more minutes or until they apart? I don’t know if even a crow bar could help in this situation."
Justin laughed quietly. "Yeah. Let them be for a few minutes. Oh, look, they look like they’re coming up for air."
