Lucca is quite simply put, a genius. She is the young scientist who created the telepod that started your adventure. She is quite vain and takes a great deal of pride in her intelligence. Although she always had a brilliant mind, there was a time in her life when she despised science. She never gave it much of a chance since it was what took time away from her and her father's get togethers. Her father always seemed to be too busy with science. One faithful day, when she was still quite young, an accident occured which changed her opinions. While her father was out, her mother got caught in one of his inventions and lost her legs. Young Lucca didn't know enough about machines and science to help her mother and from then on, she blamed herself. She began to study science obsessively to make up for not being able to help her mother. She vowed that not another accident would happen due to lack of knowledge. Eventually she grew to love science, although she never forgave herself for what happened to her mother, Lara. Through her obsession, she became better at inventing than even her father, Taban, it seems. Science is a crutch for Lucca, as she is extremely dependant on it. She uses it as a solution to every problem since the accident. It would have been a solution to the accident, too. This is probably why she became so passionate for it. Lucca uses guns as her weapon, complying with her love for science, and her magic that she eventually learns is fire. Her and Crono have a brother and sister relationship as they have been best friends since childhood. All in all, Lucca's knowlegde and later on, her powerful fire magic prove invaluable throughout the game.

Hypno Wave - Strange waves are created that lull enemies to sleep (Requires: 1 MP)
Fire - Lucca sends out flames to attack one enemy (Requires: 2 MP)
Napalm - Lucca tosses a bomb that explodes and damages all enemies in the bomb area (Requires: 3 MP)
Protect - This move ups the physical defence of one ally once casted (Requires: 6 MP)
Fire 2 - Everything begins to heat up and fire errupts everywhere, burning all enemies (Requires: 8 MP)
Mega Bomb - A stronger version of Napalm that blasts enemies in the bomb area with incredible force (Requires: 15 MP)
Flare - The ultimate fire magic attack that burns through anything in its way (Requires: 20 MP)
