The 33rd king to grace the throne from the Guardia line, the present king reigns over a period of peace and prosperity for the kingdom. Although a capable ruler, King Guardia tends to be extremely strict with his daughter, Nadia. The family spends a great deal of time fighting over Nadia's freedom, and as a result, the ties are strained. King Guardia, though, is only trying to raise Nadia the best way he knows how, in the absence of his wife. The Queen, who passed away some years earlier, is greatly missed by the King. Since Nadia reminds the King of her, he is much too protective. As a result, he is quick to punish Crono for kidnapping Nadia. Even when Crono was found innocent, the King maintains that he is a criminel. In the end, however, family bonds overcome all the hardships and misunderstandings, and the King and Nadia finally settle their differences.
