1999 AD is the year of the destruction of the earth in Chrono Trigger. The end of all. The only character you meet here is Lavos, bearer of the destruction. Lavos is a very important character and even though there aren't many other people to see in 1999 AD (none actually), I decided to include it because Lavos is an extremely important minor charcater.
