CFL 1999 CHAMPION:

The Mighty Chipmunks;   took home $270 for winning the Super Bowl. Not bad for a team that finished the regular season with an 8-7 record.  Not to mention that they only completed two transactions all year, and at least half the time never made a line-up change!

CFL 1999 RUNNER -UP:

The Duck Killers; took $90 for 2nd Place.  Finished the regular season 11-3, and with the highest point total of 771.  A substantial portion of those points were criminal.  Kudos to the Duck Killers for choosing players that upheld the fine tradition of the Criminal Football League!

BEST LEAGUE RECORD:

The Carnage;   took $50 for best record in the regular season, 12-2.  The Fergmeister seemed to be unstoppable, but were nipped by those pesky Chipmunks in the playoffs!

BEST SHOWING BY ROOKIE TEAM:

Bristol Bay;   finished the regular season with a 9-5 record.  Excellent results for a rookie team.  Made a major score with the acquisition of Kurt Warner!  Hope to see you back next year Peder!

JERRY JONES AWARD:

Who else but the Mountlake Terrorists!  With a total of 18 transactions.  We can always count on Mr. Troy for his prodigious lining of the CFL coffers!

MOST LITIGIOUS AWARD:

Ott's Elite;  it was quality not quantity here folks.  The first team to retain legal counsel and file a lengthy brief, all in an attempt to save $2 in transaction fees!  Hope to see you back next year!

SINGLE TRANSACTION AWARD:

The Twins;   finished the regular season with a 6-8 record, and only made one transaction!   They got their money's worth!

GIANT SLAYER AWARD:

The Knights;   beat the Duck Killers in week #1 and week #5!  Also, a Big Thanks to Linda for her highly competent Treasurer duties!

SHOULD HAVE NABBED BEURLEIN SOONER AWARD:

The Intimidators;   started logging wins after dumping Favre for Beurlein!  Hope to see you back next year!

Well, it was a great season!  I think it was fun running this league through a web site, and thank everyone for their patience and participation.  I hope to see everyone back next year.  We may tweak the scoring categories to make things more interesting!
