A little about yourself: I am married to Gwendolyn since 1988, and I have one son, Justin who is almost 13. Both of them are Mark Martin fans, but I don't hold that against them!! At least we all agree what our Sunday afternoon activities will include during racing season! I actually began pulling for Bill about 1983. I had always rooted for Richard Petty before that, but I knew his days of winning were about over. I still like and root for the Pettys, but I really moved over to the Bill Elliott bandwagon about 1985, like a lot of others. Now, I remain an Elliott fan more because of the kind of person Bill is instead of his performance on the track. To me, he epitomizes what a driver should be, and also what a person should be as well. About the same time I started pulling for Bill, I jumped over to the Ford camp from Chevy. I have remained loyal since then, to Ford and to Bill, and have stuck with Bill over the years through both thick and thin (lots of thin). I just like Bill because he is just a good ol', down to earth country boy, like myself. Back in the '80s, I could easily identify with Bill and his family-run team. It really fascinated me in 1985 when they were kicking EVERYBODY'S butt, even the other Fords. Heck, even Ford had no idea how they were doing it, or they would have had all the Fords running that good! Man, the Elliotts were on top of their game back then! I dream that Bill could run that way again, just one more time! Since leaving his own Ford team, Bill has driven other marques, and may even drive a Toyota next year, but I am still 110% Ford. I drive an F-350 Powerstroke 4x4 dually, which I absolutely love. However, no matter what Bill chooses to drive, I will pull for him before all others....
