A first of sorts here. A bootleg maxi single for the as yet unreleased music for the NPG's Kamasutra ballet. Take notice to the very short length of the disc, barely over twenty minutes long. This arrives encased in a very professional looking foldout digipak, complete with striking color graphics (no photos of our heroes) along with a descriptive definition of the term Kamasutra. Sound quality is near perfect stereo CD quality. Virtually flawless. The opening track revolves for 10 minutes around a single melodic hook and works well. The remaining three 'overtures' blend well into one another but produce less excitement than the opening track. Still quite nice though. This CD avoids the miscellaneous clutter that detracts from many bootlegs and presents us here with a single concept that has the look and sound of an officially released maxi CD. I wish this single concept idea could be extended to other unreleased music that also would work well by itself on a single CD (i.e. the original Come test pressing, the original version of the Exodus LP, the I'll Do Anything demo tracks, Prince's killer 20 minute performance at BBC studios in 1993 off FM, etc., etc......food for thought for those of you have the power to make this a reality).

Recommendation
Hard to justify this for the usual single CD bootleg price of $17- $22 simply becuase of its running time. If this can be found for a lesser price than this, the overall quality is well worth the little extra price.

I know this has already has been reviewed, but I just had too. One of the first things that really caught my eye was the excellent package. It has a very professionally done digipack CDsingle design. Almost seems like a real official release. The old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" definitely doesn't apply to this release. The sound quality of this CD is excellent. The Orchestration itself is tne of Prince or O(+> best pieces of work. I haven't heard anything like this from the man since Venus de Milo.

Recommendation
Most definitely, Unless you can wait for it's rumored official release [Whenever that is].
