1) They're Uncommon: I live in a town with about 11,000 people and I know 4 Great Danes---an uncropped 9 year old Harlequin named Michelle, a cropped female Brindle named Mishka who's 3 years old, and a cropped rescue fawn and brinde who's names, ages, and owers I don't know.

2) They're B-I-G: Their size is SO impressive. Just about everybody I see when I walk Michelle ( the Harl ) stops to pet her, and everytime someone drives by their necks just about do a 360 when they see her.

3) They're Comical: No matter how stressed you are, no matter what's weighing on your mind, you can't help but laugh when a gigantic dog plants it's rear in your lap or on the couch next to you with all four legs firmly planted on the ground and just kind of looks at you.

4) They're Sweethearts: They are the kindest dogs I've ever met. They're so good with other dogs they meet on the street and little children who want to pet them.

5) They're Cuddly: They're what you might call " lap-dogs " which basically means exactly what it says...there's nowhere else they're rather be than in your lap.
