Conveying to you Dissasociation

Going through life
Allowing yourself to feel nothing
Numbness replaces the pain
No feelings are better than the agony you have felt

Broken trust
Friends only here to betray you
No one to turn to
Better to deal with it on your own

By yourself
In complete solitude
Building your wall so high
That no one can crawl over and get in

No need for others
Only here to use and be used
No one cares so why should you
Your life just beginning yet not

You have become a machine
Conveying no sign of emotion
To the world outside your wall
Disconnected, disassociated

Much safer to hide behind the wall
By yourself with no risk of being hurt
Shutting out those who care
Withdrawing into yourself

Give me the key
