The Council Bluffs Iowa
“Renaissance Faire of the Midlands” 2001 PIX

This Faire encompasses a SINGLE, 3-day, weekend.
June 8th, 9th & 10th, 2001
Thus, it is rather “small” in size.
Additionally, they serve NO ALCOHOL on site.
(Hence, I brought Myne Wyne Skin with me!!!)

HOWEVER!
E’en though “small,” this Faire GROWS every year.
As in past years, they had some very IMPRESSIVE Jousting
and a Gudley Variety O’ Vendors and Entertainers.
This year, they had more GAMES (for both Adults & Children) than e’er before. Thus, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Faire to others!

The only “drawback” o’ this Faire (since no one objected to Myne Wyne Skyn): ‘TIS HOT & HUMID!!! There was a Vendor who sold PARASOLS — and sold a LOT o’ parasols — but, NO ONE had any right-wenchly FANS for sale.

Me thinks I smell an opportunity for fun & PROFIT!

I’m thinking that, should I purchase several palm-leaf-shaped woven fans for right-cheap, wear them upon a string tied around myne waist (flapping about myne “fanny” – ARGGGH!), and SELL THEM at the Faires I attend (for only pence more than what I paid) … not only would I make a few pence (to spend on Faire Accoutrement), I would be performing a SERVICE to REN FAIRE GOERS!!!
Right. That’s the Ticket. I’ll think upon it.

I knew I would be BORED STIFF while waiting
for Wenches at the Meeting Poynte.
(Especially since so FEW Wenches were
… maybe … going to show up!)
So, I decided to reprise
Myne FREE Ribbon Basket Service
that ‘twas begun at the
JAV 2001 Ren Fest two weeks earlier.

As at the JAV Ren Fest,
myne FREE ribbons were a resounding success.
I was kept sooooo busy, that
I didn’t even notice time passing.
And, like at the JAV gig
I had ‘TRES FUN Ribboning Folkz!!!

’Twas while ribboning that I met TWO o’ the
WASHER
WELL
WENCHES
Keirra Mayholme (a.k.a. “The Spanking Wench”) and
Mistress Sheila (the “Goat Herder’s Daughter”)!

Somehow, I managed to MISS their performances. (FIE!!!)
But, Keirra gaveth me her card.
Hence, I have since visited their Web Site.
