After the Cavern Club,
Carol and I returned to
THE GRAPES PUB
(used to be “HIGSONS”)
where we’d dropped
OUR GUYZ off.

He was terrific fun –
even though I could
barely understand
a THING he said!
(I had trouble with
Carol & John’s accents

I got another

We had several rounds
at The Grapes …
and then went to the
“LOCAL” pub
(the pub that
Tunny, Carol and John
“frequent”)! |

And, JOAN the BARMAID!
(I wanted to call her a “BARTENDER” … Carol wouldn’t let me!)
Apparently, we were drinking there until AFTER HOURS,
because we had to SNEAK out the back door when we left!
The next day (well, a few hours later!) I dragged Carol out of bed at Oh-Dark-Thirty,
and she escorted me to the Motorway so that I could DRIVE TO SCOTLAND!
I had a GRAND time with Carol & John (& Tunny!) … LUV TO YOUZ GUYZ!
