Multicultural Club History of Events in Year 2003
January
- January Newsletter came out in 2 versions. One was an early Christmas edition with one extra page. Fling dance planning began.
- The club holds a bake sale.
February
- Black History Month was celebrated with a luncheon, a speaker and a performer.
March
- The March issue of the newsletter comes out.
- The club goes to Western Bowl for bowling night. Afterwards they went out for dinner.
- The president of the Multicultural Club resigns and Tomas Kofron was elected the new president. A new treasurer was also elected, Jesus Solis.
- The club has an evening out at Skateland where the members play laser tag, skate, and play other games. Afterwards they went out for dinner.
- The Multicultural club holds the St. Patrick’s Day bake sale and Kool-Aid sale.
April
- The Multicultural Club members, through Keep Omaha Beautiful organization, volunteer to clean the Field Club Trail. Despite the rain, the members do a great job cleaning the almost two mile trail.
- The club goes to Mockingbird Lanes to laser bowl.
May
- The May issue of the newsletter comes out.
- The club once again participates in the Cinco de Mayo Parade in South Omaha with a decorated truck and afterwards a few members help out at the Bellevue University table.
- The Multicultural club organized the Beach Dance Party with great music, food and entertainment.
- The club goes to Mockingbird Lanes to laser bowl.
June
- Members of the club graduate from Bellevue University.
- The club goes to Everet Park for the annual summer picnic.
