HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU

A panel game which It may be between hosts but it's one of the best programs on TV today.

Comedian Paul Merton and "Private Eye" Editor Ian Hislop are the team captains with two guests each week.

Since Angus Deayton's dishonorable discharge, various guest hosts have taken the chair for one week at a time including Anne Robinson, Bruce Forsyth, William Hague MP, Alexander Armstrong, John Sergeant and Boris Johnston MP.

The 28th series of this show should begin on BBC1 soon.

THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY

After a long absence from our radios, the Tertiary Phase is due to air on Radio 4 in September 2004.

This is the first of three new radio series which will bring the final three books of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" to life.

A near original cast make a welcome return - save of course the late Peter Jones whose part "The Book" is taken by William Franklyn.

The writer, the late Douglas Adams, also appears playing one of his own characters.

Q . I .

The quiz that rhymes with Steven Fry (who coincidentally is the host of this particular panel game.)

Currently, the first series is being repeated on Friday nights on BBC TWO.

A new series is expected soon and will probably premier on BBC FOUR.

The questions are so difficult that they hardly ever get an answer right so points are gained from being interesting.

Panelists include the ever-present Alan Davies and guests such as Jo Brand, Bill Baily, Linda Smith, Clive Anderson, Jeremy Hardy, Howard Goodall, Gyles Brandreth and Rich Hall.
