Longer Biography

I was born in 1974 in South Carolina, and two days later moved home to this house , from which I moved away barely a year later. Of course, being the underage sort that I was, I had to drag my parents away with me, first to New York, then to The Black Hole, I mean Nebraska, where I've lived most of my life since 1977.

I spent my school years in Cozad Nebraska , graduating from Cozad High School in 1993. I was one of those folks who would rather forget their school years, and Cozad especially is way too conservative and cultureblind for my tastes, but I have some nostalgia for those years, anyway. You know what I mean?

I ended up staying in Nebraska for college, first at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln for my Freshman year, then at UNL until graduation in 1997.

Within a few months of graduation I applied for, and received, an English teaching job in Japan. That was certainly the highlight of my life, but at the same time a low point in more ways than one, but that would be a personal discussion which I'd rather leave off of this webpage. Needless to say, I left Japan and came back to (where else), Nebraska! I'm currently living in Omaha, doing some honest work to pay the rent and going back to school with the hope of adding a zero or two to my salary.
