Vicky and Chris's Ireland Tour!
This page is basically nothing but pictures, so be paitent, it's gonna take a while to load.
About halfway through my UN Mission in Eritrea Africa, Vicky and I met in Irelnad for a short (too short) vacation. Everything you have read about Ireland is true. It is an absolutley gorgeus place full of great peaple and lots to see and do. We missed alot, but still feel we had a great time while we were there. If you ever have the chance, go.
The park of St Stevens Green in Dublin. After Africa, it was nice to see green.
The above shots are all from St Patricks Cathedral
Trinity College
The promise land itself....
On the roof of the Brewery is the Gravity Bar, all glass with views of the skyline, and the freshest Gunniess you can get.
We took a haunted tour in Dublin, the guide was great and it was cool. It seems touristy, but it was really well done with a lot of history. Some of these pix are from a cemetary, and the others are the 40 steps, home of the phantom "green lady," the most documented ghost in the world. And yes, Bram Stroker lived in Dublin
Grafton Street in Dublin
Yes, we went to Blarney castle, and yes, we kissed the Blarney Stone
Of course we visited one or two pubs...
These are from a road called the Rings of Kerry, it loops a penisula on the west coast, it's beautiful.
These are from Limerick Castle
This is a really neat little town called Roscrea, one of the oldest settlemetns in Ireland
These are the odd shots we have.
There is no escaping this guy!
