Being John Malkovitch

Asphault- I wonder which studio exec. decided to give the go-ahead to such an odd idea. I mean, think about the pitch: "a struggling puppeteer gets a job on the 7 and 1/2 floor of a building, then finds a door leading into actor John Malcovich's brain." Whoever it was, I wish I could personally thank him for allowing such a twisted, inventive, entertaining movie to enter theaters. This film gets lots of mileage from great humor that becomes more apparent each time you see the movie. When it's not funny, it still offers one of the weirdest most engaging plots ever. Oh yeah, all the actors do great jobs too, especially malcovich.
