ANOTHER BEGINNING

Why can't I learn a new alphabet this year?

I need to develop a new yardstick.

I've lived with my old language too long,

How can I use the past mathematics

To make the present work?

Its time for a second coming.

I'll go climb scores of hills

and find the one closest to the sky

So that I can count - no not the stars -

but the clouds-

the gentle clouds

that bring the much needed rain.
