Pornfork rituals are few, but important. They are one of the only aspects of Pornfork that have specific rules. We hold rituals mainly because they are fun, but they have value as well.
The Lighting Ceremony is the first ritual ever created by the Elders. It is as old as the Legion itself. The Lighting Ceremony is used during the lighting of ANY fire, and during initiations and promotions. The words are sung while banging a chunk of wood against the ground, as one person lights the fire.

Everyone in the Legion has their own Porn Name. The only restrictions on Porn Names is that they must be original and not obscene. Not too tough!
We initiate people because, well, that's the only way to get them into the Legion. Initiation is the transition from initiate to member or IPP. It takes a gathering of Elders (majority rule) to initiate memebers. One or two Elders cannot do it alone. The initiation involves, well....if you haven't been through one, it isn't yours to know. It's classified. A magician never reveals her secrets!
