Centuries in the future, the robotic Transformers from
Cybertron were split into two parts: the Maximals and the Predacons. The Predacons were once the Maximals
enemies, but had signed a peace treaty with them.
However, a rouge group of Predacons stole an ancient
Maximal treasure that lead them to prehistoric Earth.
A group of Maximals lead by their commander, Optimus
Primal, pursued them through time. Both of their ships
crashed and then the two teams started in what was
known as the Beast Wars. But, before the Maximal ship
crashed, their support team of Maximals lay dormant
inside stasis pods in their not-robot form. They could
only exist outside the pod after its computer picked
a suitable lifeform or mechanism for it to copy.
Transformers could change from at least two different
modes: robot, and either a vehicle, device, or weapon, plus a robotic version of some other lifeform. One of
the stasis pods crashed on Earth and indentified itself
with a white tiger. The Maximal inside was reformatted
into Tigatron whose make was similar to the original
form of the Maximal Cheetor. Tigatron joined the Maximals, but remained outside their normal bounds and
acted as a scout. He had formed a bond with the tiger
he was modelede after, but she was later killed by
the Predacons. However, Tigatron became intimate with
the female Maximal, Airazor. The two were later on
captured by a race called the Vorn who were apparently
responsible for the creation of life on Earth. Tigatron
was then fused with Airazor to form one being called
Tigerhawk. He possessed Tigatron's conciousness, but
his beast mode was tiger with eagle wings. He could
create electrical blasts of energy and could even cause
storms to happen. Tigerhawk briefly returned to Earth
to help out the Maximals, but only to be destroyed by
the Predacons who had obtained an ancient battleship.
The Maximals eventually won the Beast Wars, but
Tigerhawk was one of its many casualties.
