Millions of years ago, a race of living robots
called the Quintessons lived on the planet Cybertron. They were later banished from the planet when their robot servants, the Autobots and Decticons,
rebelled over their masters. Then, the Autobots and
Decepticons themselves fought for control of Cybertron. During this time, they gained the ability to mechanically alter their
bodies into different forms, usually as vehicals or
weaponry. From this, they gained the name Transformers. Finally, the two forces had depleted their planet's energies and had
to find an alternate source out in the galaxy. A group
of the main leaders and soldiers from each faction
went out into space to search for more energy, but
instead began to fight each other and crash landed on
Earth during the Jurassic Period. Then 4 million years
later, the Transformers were revived due to a
volcanic erruption. The Autobots and Decepticons
continued their battle on modern-day Earth. One of
the Decepticons was a robot with the body of an Earth
jaquar named Ravage. He could transform into a cassette
that would work with the Decepticon communications
expert Soundwave. Ravage would act as a spy and recon
for the Decepticons and was one of their best fighters
despite the fact that he was smaller than most of their
regular warriors. After a few centuries, the war came
to a close and the Autobots finally won. Then, all
the Transformers went through a transition and became
a new classification of robot. Many of the Autobots became what are called Maximals, but some of the various opposing factions were labled Predacons. Ravage became one of these Predacons and was the only known Decepticon to be reformatted for the new age. Then, a rouge group of Predacons wishing to seize power, left Cybertron and travelled back in time to prehistoric Earth with a platoon of Maximals on thier trail. Like their ancestors, these Transformers became marooned on Earth and began what is called the "Beast Wars". But, the Predacon Alliance recieved a signal coming from Earth of the past and sent Ravage as a secret agent to capture the rouge Predacons and destroy any Maximal witnesses. Ravage took a new experimental ship that was fitted with a special cloaking device. After arriving on Earth and forming a false partnership with the Maximals there, he teamed up with the Predacons after realizing they were
following a plan first laid out by his original Decepticon commander, Megatron. However, the Maximals temporarily defeated the Predacons and Ravage was
destroyed during the battle.
