A querious lifeform called Phantom Cats has arisen
in the world. They are ghostlike felines with the
ability to appear either as humans or cats, and
sometimes in a halfway form as a human with huge
cat claws. The Phantom Cats are basically composed of
digital energy that allows them to gain access to
machinery, electronics, and computer systems. One of
the two sanctions of the Phantom Cats is lead by one
known as Black Cat who seems to want his kind to live
an independent existence from the human world without
interfering with them or causing them harm. There are
another group of Phantom Cats trying to destroy the
humans with various terrorist attacks. To counteract
the actions of these rouge Phantom Cats, the Kagura
Security group was formed. One of its members is part
of Black Cat's former agents named Maya. She lives
with Yoichi Taba, Kagura's only male member. Maya
is usually very silent and tries to help out in the
office, but she also secretly has a crush on Mr. Taba.
Although she doesn't work for Black Cat anymore, she
is still under the protection of one of his
associtates, Socks. Maya can morph like all Phantom
Cats and usually users her abilities to assist in
various Kagura cases. Unfortunately, she's a bad
cook.
