A thousand years ago, there was a kingdom on the Earth's moon that
was ruled by Queen Serenity. One day, an evil empire lead by Queen
Beryl went to war with the moon kingdom. Queen Serenity won,
but not without having her daughter Serena die along with most of
the rest of the kingdom. She sent Serena along with her followers
to be reborn on Earth along with two of their feline gaurdians, Luna
and Artemis. Later on the princess and her friends were reincarnted
and regained their memories thanks to Luna. She looks like a common
housecat with a strange crescent moon symbol on her forehead.
Aside from her ability to talk, she can also mind link with other
reincarnated members of the moon kingdom. She and Artemis help
Serena and her friends protect Earth as the Sailor Scouts from
evil alien forces. She even took human form one time in order to
make a man she was in love with happy thanks to Serena's
Silver Crystal. Eventually she fell in love with Artemis
though and the two were surprised to recieve a visit from their daughter from the future, Diana. Luna continues to be an advisor
for Serena (a.k.a. Sailor Moon) and the rest of the Sailor Scouts.
