This unusual stuffed toy cat exists in a strange
world of fantasy. He
rides upon a giant mechanical Mog(a mythical creature) and works as
a fortune teller at an amusement park called the Gold Saucer. He
eventually leaves it to join a group of heroes called Avalanche and an endangered creature named Red XIII to save
the world from a corrupt industry and a mysterious ex-soldier. He has
the odd ability to roll a pair of dice and cause either good results for
himself and his allies or bad news for his enemies. Cait is actually
controlled by a member of the evil Shin-Ra Industry who is really using
him to try to help save the planet.
