Having been exiled from their lake the future was uncertain.
Luckily our heros found a nice little sand bar along the side of a river where they could set up a temporary refuge for the night.
Unfortunately the forest that bordered the area was not friendly. In fact, when the trees invaded the campsite it took the combined battle fury of Wanop and Bob both just to fight them back.
In the end the wiles of the forest folk unfortunately won out. The Pornforkers left the area to sleep in the grassy area along the other side of the river.
The next morning they retrieved their gear and decided to press on. They started up the hill leading to this critical point in time. You see, at the top of this hill upon which they now stood there were 3 possibilities for the future. There was a "fork in the road".
The heros trudged straight up the middle and found themeselves in the land of the dead (timber that is). But not even the dead seemed to bother our heros. They spent their time laughing, wrestling, telling lude jokes, stealing potatoes from the natives, and getting their grappling hook stuck in a tree. It seems that friends can make even the unfamilar, a place of comfort.
