Typical performances may include:
Rock and Roll
Rock music is great and we play heaps of it. But here we're talking about Rock and Roll which harkens back to the music of the 1950's. Lots of Bill Haley, Little Richard,
Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry. The band also adds the more recent songs that have become popular with Jive dancers.
Itchy Feat have a whole night of jive.
Baby Boomer Music
Itchy Feat are often called to play music from the 60’s and 70’s. This was a very versatile period of musical history and the Itchies vary their repertoire depending on the event.
For example:
If it’s a dance night the Feat will play:
Heaps of Beatles, Stones, Creedence, Kinks, Roy Orbison, Eagles, Bruce Springsteen etc. We mix in evergreens like I'm a Believer, Love Potion Number 9, Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl, Sing
Sing Sing, Stand By Me, Time Warp etc as well as some more obscure covers from the period
We can play a whole night of this sort
of music.
If it’s not just dance music that’s required we will add quieter songs like those from:
Cat Stevens, Jerry Jeff Walker, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, The Rascals (you remember...Groovin’), Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, America, Neil Diamond, Carol King, J J Cale, etc.
Itchy Feat can play a whole night of this sort of music.
Country Music
Country music is a huge genre and sometimes it’s
hard to tell what people mean when they say “country”. (Is it Shania Twain or Slim Dusty??) Consequently Itchy Feat
tend to mix it up a bit: blending touches of Country Rock, Western Swing,
Country Standards and the odd Bush Ballad.
Songs like:
The Love Sick Blues, Back Home Again, Big Bad
Bill, Blue Moon of Kentucky, Bye Bye Love, Comes a Time, Could I Have This
Dance, End Of the Line, For The Good Times, Four Strong Winds, From a Jack
to a King, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, Have I Told You Lately, He’ll Have
To Go, Heartaches By The Number, King of
the Road, Let Me Be There, Marguritaville, Some Days Are
Diamonds, Singin the Blues, Ruby etc
The Itchies have enough material to do a whole night of
this sort of music.
Cocktail Parties or Similar
Itchy Feat often play formal events where they get
the opportunity to dress the part and play jazz:
Witchcraft, Caravan, Makin’ Whoopee, Don’t Get Around Much Any More,
Blue Moon, Up The Lazy River, Moonlight In Vermont, Chatanooga
Choo Choo, Till There Was You, Unforgettable,
Cry Me A River, and lots of other jazz standards.
Itchy Feat have a whole night of this style of music
in their repertoire.
Ball Room or 50/50 dances
Itchy Feat have frequently played at formal occasions
requiring strict tempo ball room dance music. eg. Fox Trots,
Quick Steps, All Latin Feels (Bossanova, Tango, Samba etc.), Barn Dances
and Gypsy Tap, Canadian and Evening Three Step, Modern and Old Time Waltzes,
Pride of Erin etc.
Itchy Feat has a whole night of this style of music
in their repertoire.
Original Songs
Itchy Feat original songs tend to cover the full gamut
of their musical tastes. Most of these have been released on Cassette: (Starting
From Scratch 1989), Video: (The Recession Tapes 1993), the Retreads CD 1997 and The Higher Ground CD (2002). ITCHY FEAT are currently working on their next album.

and entertaining approach while delivering top quality music.
· We go down well with all age groups.
· We adjust volume levels etc to suit
the occasion and venue.
